“Visit a sugar plantation.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Rebuilding work needs to be expanded rapidly to capture the essence of this venue, please. Fantastic history which needs to be shared more widely. Do visit the small museum on site - lots to 'take on board'.

“Interesting historic place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Was an interesting site, when the small museum is completed then will be even better, contains some disturbing details from slave times !
The day we visited it was not crowded at all, we had the place to ourselves for much of the time.
Well worht a visit.

If you want to get to know something about the island history several buildings have been preserved and there is a small museum - worth a visit.

I found it interesting but I'm a history buff and It as just a couple of partially restored windmills and some ruins with very little information.
