“If you haven't been to Roti king, you haven't been to Antigua”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

We tried it today, and oh my it was awesome, it was a bit busy in the restaurant so we got it to take out.
My wife had the veggy roti and she said it was awesome, with the pineapple in it, I had the chicken, and it sure filled us up.

For 18.00 EC per roti, that is pretty good , beats the hamburgers that are being served all over.

“Great rotis--definite stop if you can get to St. Johns”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

The rotis are huge and really satisfying. Chill atmosphere and great deals for very good food--which you can see by the large numbers of locals who come by to pick up a roti for lunch.

“Great Rotis”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Having lived previously in Trinidad we were thrilled to find an authentic roti shop. We had boneless chicken and they were delicious. Took us right back.

“King is Right”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

Definitely the King in St. Johns, half way up St. Mary Street on the right, this unimposing little eatery serves the best food in town.
We had the chicken rotti, which was more than enough, and was crammed with meat, and sauce.
We were the only non-locals eating here, both at the four or five tables, as well as takeaway.
The staff were so friendly, and the service above reproach. We regretted not finding this place sooner, as it was one of the best lunch time meals we had during our stay.
They have a lunch special, which also looked great.
If you don't eat here, you have missed one of the delights of St. Johns.

“Too good for tourists”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

This place is quaint, endearing, I would categorize in the same category as a Swartz's deli in Montreal. It ain't fancy, but the food is fantastic. We were there for lunch, I had the Conch roti, my wife the lunch special. The lunch special was roast chicken with rice and black eyed peas the thing that made that meal was the hot sauce, not burning but flavourful. The conch roti was amazing succulent chunks of conch in a fresh roti. The best Roti I have had. The locals crowd this place at lunch. Tourists getting off the tour boats should stick to the Cheers bar down at the harbour, you don't want to spoil the magic. Service was quick and friendly the prices were great, I will be back if I get a chance.
