We booked a half day tour to zip line and swim with the sting rays. Damien was our wonderful tour guide and he led us to one of our most memorable traveling days ever! Along our drive to the Rain Forest Zip Lines, Damien pointed out places of interest and shared bits of history. He then handed us off the the experts when we arrived to zip line. This was a first experience for all of us and we just had a blast! We felt very safe and just screamed our heads off for the fun and excitement of it all! We were able to do 7 lines during our time there. Damien then took us to lunch at an historical spot, Betty's Sugar Plantation, where we were able to independently tour the ruins. After a wonderful lunch we set out for Stingray City. Swimming with these magnificent creatures was just amazing!!! We giggled, screamed and huddled as the stingrays swooned by caressing us with their "fins." Both tours took pictures of us while we were enjoying the destination and of course, we later purchased them. The day could not have been any better and we highly recommend this adventurous tour!

Our tour was led by Stephen and it was a real highlight to our trip. We were in a jeep with a total of four people, and it was safe, comfortable and air conditioned. The tour was highly informative, taking us to sights such as English Harbour, Shirley Heights and Betty's Hope Sugar Plantation. Lunch was included at Shirley Heights and was delicious! The only bit of the tour I could have done without was the half hour stop at Long Bay, which was not a patch on the beach at our hotel, but I can see why it is included. This stop did mean that Betty's Hope was closed by the time we got to it and we got shown around by car. I would have preferred time to have a meander around there instead of the beach. But overall a marvellous day and well worth it!

We booked a historic tour lasting the whole day through our hotel and initially thought the price of $100 each was expensive. It was worth every bit.
Our tour guide, Almond Phillips, known as AP was the best guide you could wish for.
We were collected from our hotel in an air conditioned 4x4 where another couple were already waiting. What a great way to meet new friends. We had a blast.
Almond knows everything there is to know about the island and seemingly knows everyone that lives there if you take in how many people he waves and smiles to during the day.
We visited a sugar plantation, nelsons dockyard, devils bridge, had a swim in longbay, lunch at shirleys heights overlooking the best view you could ever wish to see. We then drove through the rainforest before being dropped back at our hotel.
This was the best day of our holiday.
On Almonds windshield is written " Antigua Nice Man".... he certainly is!!
Would totally recommend

Went on the private tour with AP. what a fantastic guide friendly kind very knowledgable and really made the day. When we were first picked up AP asked us if there was any inparticular places we wanted to visit, this is not something you usually get asked when taking a tour which I think made the tour all the more personal. Thanks AP for a great day
