I woudnt say this is an attraction. yes, it is green and lush but it is a road that you would drive along in order to get to a destination.

Travelling along Fig Tree Drive is one of the best drives in Antigua. The sights are just wonderful, you get to witness where the unique 'black' pineapple of the country is farmed; and when you pass the green hills, valleys, gullies and beaches, it takes you to a place that many of us dream about. It is not a short drive by a long shot, but well worth it!

It is a lovely drive..It is so cool and refreshing..We went on a tour of the island in a taxi. She was great. Her name is Emelda Frank. She gave us a great tour of the island. You can find her on face book. She is great. We had a lovely time and hope to go back. We love Antigua...

If you travel the island by car you have to drive trough the fig Tree Drive. The drive goes over the mountains and on the top you can look all over the island from east to west! Also at the Fig Tree Drive is the Canopy tour where you can go through the rain forest in great height! At the fig tree drive there are also little shops where you can buy fresh fruits direct from the woods!

We had a car and went into English Harbour. from Jolly Harbour quite honestly while it was nice I wasn't quite sure why it was so highly rated....
but the reverse trip made all the difference....and this would have to be the most scenic stretch of roadway in Antigua from plantations, to ocean, and hills.. Just watch for the giant potholes and the largest speed bumps I've ever been across..
Allow at least an hour between English Harbour and Jolly Harbour to enjoy the drive and longer if you stop off at any of the art galleries (all closed on Sunday) or beach side bars....
