“Most majestic view and very comfortable carribean house”
Reviewed April 3, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The view will stop you in your tracks the moment that you walk into the house. The living room is filled with comfy couches and lounges to sit and stare out at the distant islands and the turquoise bay below. It is a completely open living room not shut in with any windows and doors. High plantation style
ceilings. Great sound system. Just plug your phone right. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of beach towels, coolers etc. Pool is kept very clean and gets warm by day's end. Fabulous house with a
great view. Very well managed and you can tell that the owners love this slice of heaven. We were truly swept away.

“Beautiful, Open Air, Relaxing”

We have been to Anguilla before and stayed on Shoal Bay East, this was our first stay on Seafeathers. We arrived at the villa in the evening having caught the last ferry from Marigot at 7pm. The neighbour came over shortly after our arrival to check in with us to ensure that everything was all right, a very nice touch and a nice warm welcome! We got settled in, changed and went down to the pool for an evening swim, the water was warm, the evening clear and the views across to St.Martins were wonderful.

The Villa: spacious, beautifully finished in Tuscan colours and accents, with a large open air living room-dining room which extends directly to an open deck and connects directly to the two upper bedrooms and kitchen so access and flow is easy and convenient. This open air feature was for us the key to the villas charm and enjoyment.

Bedrooms: each on the upper level has it's own ensuite bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms are spacious with a king in the master and a queen in the second bedroom. The beds were very comfortable, made up with high quality linens, lovely quilted bed spreads, throw blankets and comfortable pillows. Both rooms have plenty of space, some of which is used for travel and some for seating. Clothes closets and drawer space is abundant.

Kitchen: well equipped with newer stainless steel appliances, dishes et al. We found everything that we needed. It may be important to note that we did not do any serious cooking and so I am unable to comment on how well the kitchen might function if this was important. There was a propane BBQ on the upper deck, which we did not use. It's location close to everything was however ideal.

Pool: and pool area are lovely, the tile could use a little TLC but the pool was always warm with clear water. The furniture was all in very good condition, comfortable and plentiful. We used the pool every day in addition to going to the beach and it was great!

Gardens: beautifully kept and receive regular attention from a gardener. The lighting was very nice and added a tremendous amount to the enjoyment of the space in the evening and early morning. Most flowering plants were in bloom and the array of colours was terrific.

Location: on Seafeathers which is in the south side of the island near the east end. This affords all day sun on the pool and decks and fabulous views across to St. Martins. The east end of the island is quieter than the central or west end which is our preference. The location is also close to grocery, beer and liquor and not far from "The Valley" where most other goods and services can be found. The location is also ideal for access to a few of the islands best beaches, Shoal Bay East being the island gem and Savannah and Sandy Hill being quiet wonderful alternatives.

Food: we go to Anguilla in large part for the dining experiences. There are several good ones close at hand: Hibernia which is just a short drive away at Island Harbour for dinner, Le Bon Pain in the morning for coffee and french pastries and bread, On Da Rocks for a fabulous seafood lunch or dinner fresh off the fishing boats or Nat's Palm Grove at Savannah/Junk's Hole which offers wonderful BBQ, Seafood (Lobster and Crayfish) as well as great Johnny Cakes and coleslaw, which is not to be missed.

In my opinion Glena and Robert's villa at Seafeathers is an incredible find.

“Just awesome!”
Reviewed January 17, 2015 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed there for a week during 4th of July in 2014. There were 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We had an awesome time. The house is gorgeous with beautiful views. Best beaches that I have ever seen in my life. My favorite is Shoal Bay. We enjoyed long days at the beach with a refreshing dip in the pool in the evening. The house has everything that a family needs. Many restaurants in the area if you prefer to eat out.
