“Your Own Private Fish Tank”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

If you like to snorkle or even if you have not snorkeled before you must take a side trip to Little Bay. It is a protected bay with crystal clear water. You will literally see thousands of tropical fish. One can snorklel in shallow water or deeper water, whatever you are comfortable with. Truely a memorable experience.

“Great snorkeling!”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

We visited this picturesque cove and beach twice during our week in Anguilla and loved it! The snorkeling there was great; we saw a huge variety of fish, squid, and even some spotted eagle rays. It has super clear water and a nice little beach to kick back on if you get tired from swimming.

“Good Snorkeling Site”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

Little Bay is a prime snorkeling site. There are various boats in the bay at a time. The masses are brought in from resorts by some boating companies. Park at Crocus Bay (preferably in the Da’Vida parking lot) and walk to boat entrance area of the bay. There are usually a group of men playing dominoes under a large tree and usually Calvin of Little Bay Boat Services will approach visitors and ask if you would like a ride to/from Little Bay. The round trip boat ride will cost $15.00 USD/person. The water to/from Little Bay in the small boat is usually pretty calm. Calvin will pickup you up whatever time you ask him to. Little Bay has nice calm water and a gentle grade entrance to/from the water. Recommend swimming out of the bay to either side to avoid other boats and the younger children splashing. The right wall of the bay has various inlets with some large boulders in the water. One large boulder has a rope tied to the top of it for climbing up 20 feet to jump off into the bay. Recommend wearing scuba shoes/sandals as the rock face is very rough. We saw more large life on the right wall the further we got away from Little Bay. The left wall of the bay is a hidden gem for snorkelers as the further you go away from Little Bay the more large fans and cuddle fish are present. Recommend stopping if you reach “the stairs” and floating trampoline as there is more boat traffic and deep open water around a bend.

“watch out for Wasps”

If you take the boat ride over there, stay right at the water's edge
Don't go near the cliff walls.
