Amazing night for the first time of holding a Bonfire Night event. Well worth the money for a family ticket, didn't expect the complimentary drinks and nibbles. Live music was fab as well. Can't wait for next year.
Is it too much to expect a quite room, very nice decor if you like twee, stayed on ground floor, could hear every guest going down the hall having a nice little chat, room doors slam like something out of a prison movie, one was so loud actual made me jump out of bed this wasn't helped by lovely female resident playing knock and run at 12:40 and the wedding party coming back at 1:00. Bar food was ok, limited menu. Breakfast good but a little on the expensive side. No idea what pool was like to tired to use!
Dear David A,
Thank you for posting your review on tripadvisor.
We appreciate your comments with regards to your recent stay, and we are very sorry to hear that it was too noisy for you.
We apologise for this inconvenience, and hope to see you soon.
Think very big carpets indeed, and uniformed but polite receptionists, a Sunday carvery and corporate service (I mean that the staff are very young and inexperienced, and have all had a brief induction which did the job, but only just). The hotel is modern and has almost no character, of course, as it is what it is. You could do a lot worse for the money, and we had no complaints
