Owner description: Greenmeadow Community Farm has been a working farm for over 250 years. Set in over 120 acres, we have a wide range of pedigree and rare animals which you can come and meet up close. Nestled in the heart of Cwmbran, this is truly a Community Farm in every sense of the word, working closely with and serving the local community and welcoming visitors from far and wide. Our cosy farmhouse cafe, Cafe Cwtch, offers kids favourites and a selection of homemade specials. We aim to use as much local produce as we can, supporting local farmers, growers and suppliers. The farm shop is full of tractors and animals to take home after your visit. There really is something for everyone. We would love to see you soon! Please note we are open 10am - 5pm (last entry at 4pm) seven days a week, whatever the weather! The farm is closed for deep cleaning and maintenance from 24th December - 31st January each year.

this farm is one of the best we've done. Not sprawled out but still plenty to see so no-one lost interest. Lovely country views but easily accessible from town. Has good value cafe. Can eat own picnic in cafe if not busy. A plus on a chilly october day. Some animals under cover. Do tractor rides and has large play area for 8-13 year olds. Shame nothing for younger children. Small gift shop. V friendly, helpful staff and many volunteers around doing their bit which was nice to see. Had a pleasant few hours there with our 4 year old daughter. Used tesco reward vouchers to get in cheaper. Also does good value annual pass if you're local.

We have visited the community farm on many occasions and have loved each visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are opportunities to get close to animals. We walked the goats which my daughter loved. Nice homecooked food well priced. Would definately reccomend.

Took the grandchildren aged 7 & 9. They enjoyed the hands on experience with the small animals and fed others sheep, goats ect. The farm is well signposted and close to the town centre. Great value for money especially in good weather
