The hotel is well located for the Brecon Beacons and the Blaenavon World Heritage Site. The Brewers Faye's restaurant on site is fine for breakfast, but dinner leaves you lacking with very average service and food.

Booked early, this is a good affordable location to hop into the Brecon beacons. The staff are forward and welcoming the rooms to a good comfortable standard. On this occasion sadly the breakfast was tired and not as advertised as a few items had run out.

Booked for several family couples to attend our mother's funeral. The staff were extremely understanding and even left a condolence message in me and my sister's rooms. Helpful and just lovely receptionists. Our room on the ground floor was spotless and comfortable...as usual in Premier Inns!
We ate in the adjacent Brewers Fayre but found that pretty disappointing from the food perspective! My steak was so overcooked I sent it back....the replacement steak was very good, The waitress who came to see if we needed any sauces etc was SO rude we complained about her! The manager ( Megan?) was wonderful...she apologised and dealt with the situation. Enjoyed a really interesting conversation with her about Wales/ the Welsh Language etc The other staff were all very helpful and attentive but that one waitress and overcooked steak meant we went elsewhere the following night for our meal.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor and were very happy!

Good location for Brecon and Blaenavon. Not too far from Cardiff.

The staff and room were excellent. We had stayed before and were not too impressed with the rooms. This time around it was much much better.

Reccomended.

Stayed for three nights while attending the Green Man festival. Excellent staff and clean rooms, as always at Premier Inn, but we had a room with interconnected doors, which meant we heard every tiny noise from next door. Fortunately we had quiet neighbours and we were not in our rooms much but I'll always make sure I don't get an interconnected room in the future.
