The owners of this "B&B" really care about what they are providing for their customers with genuine warmth when they greet you and say farewell. We didn't want to leave this time...or the last time we stayed! Susan & Neil provide a wonderful organic breakfast, artisan hand made bread and homemade preserves, free range eggs and much more... all locally produced. The bed and bedding is the comfiest! Eco friendly & breathable....we normally cart our wool pillows & duvet with us as can't bear synthetic bedding anymore!! Happy on the Hill....? More than happy, it's unique and very special. Perfect for people who will appreciate the countryside, amazing views and truly want to escape and relax. Magnetism that will draw us back...but we can't wait.....off to rebook!
Whiskey, my dog, and I came for a respite break and could not have wished for better. Relaxing and simple, Gabriel's Wagon made me feel I was home. Susan and Neil have created an absolute idyll and I can't wait to go back there.
beautiful cabin, lovingly made & furnished, with an incredible view across the valley. for me this is why air b n b is so fantastic, you can find gems like this!
What a wonderful calming, energy restoring place to stay. Wagon was cozy and had all the luxuries you would not expect from a little place. From the bath with a view to the stocked fridge. Lovely owners who were on hand if you needed them. If you want tranquility, this the place. Highly recommend and hoping to return in 2017
A beautiful hideaway of peace and Tranquillity. We had a fabulous few days enjoying the comfort and simplicity of Gabriel's Wagon. An absolute gem that we can't wait to return to. And our hosts are such lovely people!
Happy on the Hill was just what we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A lovely place to stay in peaceful surroundings with easy access to the restaurants of Bruton nearby. The wagon was very cosy with all the facilities we needed and our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go again.
This is an absolute delight. Beautiful setting, delightful accommodation, warm welcome from Neil and Susan including home made bread, local cider and eggs. The bamboo bed linen in this charming little converted wagon made every night a joy and the wood burning stove was cosy and welcoming. I adore Gabriel's Wagon and will be booming again in the New Year. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
