The temples are a must for everyone who likes history and culture or architecture. For everyone else it might be boring, as there is nothing else than stones here.
It's the biggest of all temple complexes in Malta, and it is one of the best preserved. If you want to visit only one of them, this is the one. Here you can see the architecture of the buildings, and if you pay attention, you can find a lot of decoration as well. The visit can be combined with the Hypogeum, only 5 minutes from this site.
It isn't easy to find the temples, there is no public transport nearby, and the road signs lead you a little bit in circles. There is no cover to the temples yet (they will be covered with protecting tents in the future), so prepare yourself with hats or anything else, that protects you from the sun! It's comfortable to have the walkways built at the site, but that also means you cannot see parts of the temple at all.
But all in all, it's worth the time and money, we really enjoyed it!
