Well prepared food, friendly servers, lovely beach bungalows, what more do you need? The Sunday night BBQ is one of the best on the Island....Steaks, fish or chicken with a sumptuous side offering!

“great local for food and drinks”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

we live not far from the Yellow Hibiscus, we often stop by on Fridays for the 4-6pm happy hour. there is always a great band playing and a fantastic atmosphere. the staff are friendly and the drinks are cold and strong! at 6 we order off the menu, the kids love the food and the portions are large. we would recommend to all visitors here in raro, we always recommend yellow hibiscus to our guests when they stay at our accommodation - 'taakoka muri beach villas'.

“Live music”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

We only had a drink and listened to some live music on Sunday night.
Drinks were well priced, music was chilled.
Great end to the weekend.

“Restaurant a bit lame”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

We ended up hear looking for some dinner on a rainy Tuesday. The restaurant looked a bit tired and once we sat down we discovered a colony of ants living on the wall next to our table. The waitress told us the restaurant had 'no fish', which meant half the menu was out, and the food took quite a while to arrive. The food was pretty average, nothing special. Overall, ok but not worth going back.

“Just plain rude”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

Having driven past a few times we thought we would pull in for lunch. As we walked in we were confronted by one couple looking totally fed up while being seated eating what looked like a bland meal. Nobody welcomed us so we approached the counter where two women were working, after a while we got the attention of one of the women who turned to look at us, we smiled while asking for a table for two at this point she turned away & carried on cooking. We then just walked out, so much for friendly Islanders !!
