I signed up to the Waterwitch email club a while back and I was delighted to receive a birthday 'present' of a 20% off voucher (just food, not drinks).
So we took up the offer and had another good meal there. The real 'pull' of the Waterwitch is it's atmosphere and setting - a very old pub in a pituresque location.
The food is good, but onyl in term of Chef and Brewer standards - perfectly edible and good value, but not haute cuisine - but for around £8 to £10 for a main what can you expect.

Went to the pub tonight for a meal with my partner. only ything that wer were disappointed with was the sponge pudding was a little dry the rest of the meal was great. It located it what seems like a little back road but nicly located near the basign stoke canel. It nice to walk around there especially in summer (when we have summer in the UK)

Was a little quiet but I have been before on a friday and saturday nights and it is nicely busy and had a great atmosphere

We will go back at some point but there are so many nice places to try

The Waterwitch is operated by Chef and Brewer. It is close to Odiham wharf on the Basingstoke Canal, about 1.5 mile from the centre of Odiham. If you want a spot of exercise before you dine, there are great walks along the canal in both directions from the pub.
The Waterwitch is an old traditional inn, with lots of sections and nooks and crannies - it is very atmospheric. It has a large patio and garden (leading down to the canal) which is great for families and for a summer's day / evening.
We're eaten there a number of times over the last few years, and the food is always good, served hot, the staff are friendly and poilte, and it is not so massively expensive. On our last visit four of us had two courses each and drinks for around £60. There are often special deals available, so check their web-site before you go!
Historical note: if you turn left along the canal, after about a mile you will come to the ruins of Odiham castle. It's only small, but historically important and there are good interpretive signs on site. It's free too!
