The Mazotos Camel Park is more than just camels and the 3 euro entrance fee is very good value. There are, of course, many camels, the most we have seen in one place!, and it is a delight to see the very young ones in the 'nursery' part of the Park. They all looked very well looked after. Other animals in the Park include ostriches, mules, fat bellied pigs and many more. There is a kiddies playground and some rides for older children, but these cost more, as does a ride on a camel. There is a 'museum' house showing how Cypriots once lived. The restaurant serves reasonably priced food and hot drinks and has free Wifi.

We arrived at the end of December . The park is welcoming and has
camels, donkeys and a few more animals. As well some games for the kids ( with extra payment each one, this part was a bit annoying...).
The ticket cost 6-9 euro for a child and includes a ride , we choose a camel and a pony for each child.
The kids enjoyed it very much. The pony ride was a short one and the camel was a longer one. We Also bought special food for the animal ( 1 euro per pack) so the kids could feed the animals. Beside that there want too much to do so we left after an hour...during the rides a photographer takes photo of the kids.

Overall was nice.

Before we left we got a gift, a developed picture of my son riding the pony, he was very happy and we left with a big smile...

I think this is such a sweet place to pop in. The place is good value for money. This is a fun day out for the family. If you want to do something different - try a camel ride and feed the camels at the Camel Park. Most enjoyable and reasonably priced afternoon out. This place is also open in December. It was really easy to find from Larnaca airport - we just followed one straight road along the coast. We then popped down to the beach which was nice walk etc.
