“Excellent alternative to a day on the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

We went in November with our 2 year old grandaughter and almost had the place to ourselves. Although the site is quite small it is well designed and there is a lot packed into the space including a swimming pool, fairground rides, restaurant and play areas. The animals looked well cared for and were gentle when taking food from your hands. Our grandaughter was thrilled to see the camels and other animals close up although could not be persuaded to feed the animals herself. The entrance fee of €3 for an adult was very reasonable and if you want a camel ride you pay an extra €6 which isn't excessive.

There were some flies about but in general the place looked clean. The toilets looked new. The only negative comment is that there should be hand cleansers about as it wouldn't be safe to touch the animals and then eat food.

We only spend a couple of hours there but if you go in the summer you could easily make it it a day's outing as the pool looked nice.

“Well worth a visit if you are in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2012

This is not normally the type of place we visit - but as we got some free entrance tickets, and it was only a short drive we had nothing to lose.

It turned out, quite unexpectedly, to be actually very good.

Our kids loved it - aged 3 and 8.

Lots of camels, deer and other animals. All seemed to be clean and well looked after. The place was neat and tidy.

We price for camel rides wasn't too expensive, so we went for it. Just about the right duration for us. Slowly and safely. Kids were happy and we got nice photos.

Aside from looking at animals there are some electronic amusements and nice playground. The only disappointment was the electic bikes. The kids wanted a ride - we paid, but clearly the machines hadn't been charged up, and so wouldn't run.

The worker tried to help and apologised and refunded the money, but still a bit disappointing for the kids.

There was also a swimming pool - but as we visited in October it wasn't really warm enough for us - and we prefer the sea anyhow.

Prices in general were quite reasonable - and kids clearly liked it.

It was much better than I ever expected. If you are in the area and have children I would recommend visiting - especially if you can find free entrance tickets. (We got ours from a cafe/ice cream parlour in Pervolia).

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

We first visited in November last year, but have been back several times since. Not just camels, which you can ride...and feed, if you so wish, but an assortment of animals; donkeys, ponies, pigs, goats, etc, and all very well cared for. Not only that, the grounds and gardens are clean and tidy and well kept, and there is also a swimming pool, with showers and changing rooms, and a good sized restaurant, with good, well priced meals and drinks. Add to that the staff are really friendly and helpful too. Its not a huge place, but great to take the kids to get away from the beach for a change. You can just spend an hour there, or make a day of it, taking full advantage of the pool etc. Open year round too, which is great if you're a winter visitor when many of the island attractions are closed!

“EXCELLENT!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

I am very surprised of what i have just read from the last review!! I visited the park with my children a few days ago, and they loved it!! We didnt spend 20 minutes there, but the whole day!!! my children loved feeding the camels, riding the ponies and the camels!! The games there were so fun, even my 16 year old son was enjoying them!! we spend the whole day there, because they also have a swimming pool and a restaurant, and we didnt spend much money! we came to cyprus,so i was expecting it to be just a small park with a few camels! I was shocked when i saw how many things you could do there! In my opinion, everything was really cheap! I will definitely go again in a few days when my sister comes to cyprus with her children.

“Boring”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

We had free tickets to get a family in, if not it's 3euros per adult. There really is not much to see, goats, ponies, horses, two ostriches and Skippy! etc. You could see every thing in about twenty mins (if you walked slow!). If you want a camel ride it's NINE euros and lasts approx 8mins! rip off. If you want to use the pool it's 4euros pp. One good thing is the animals do look well kept Any rides looked old and dirty, there are far better places to go in Cyprus, for us it was thumbs down. As they are giving free entry it seems they have put the individual prices of things up.
