Rumah Bali is a bed-and-breakfast in a traditional Balinese village compound, hidden away from the manic hustle and bustle of Tanjung Benoa's main thoroughfare. The staff are polite and friendly, as most Balinese people are, and the surroundings are magnificent.
The accommodation is in the form of traditional villas, catering for singles, couples or families. Each group of villas has a substantial swimming pool for communal use.
It's a wonderful place to unwind, or, if you're looking for somewhere different for a family or friends group holiday, or perhaps a convention, Rumah Bali is pleasantly different.
The B&B is part of a group of hospitality properties that includes two restaurants, both named Bumbu Bali and both in the same street, Jalan Pratama. The restaurants, named after the standard Balinese mixture of spices used in cooking, offer classes in traditional cooking.
You can have breakfast in the resort's own restaurant or in your room, but I'd recommend having it on the porch of your villa - it's far more relaxing and interesting. A feature is the huge array of traditional Balinese sculptures spread through the grounds, the villas and the restaurants. Reasonable cost.More
