“Overflavoured”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

Unfortuntely Glaze and its sister Cardamon we both vey poor.
The meals were over flavoured and ruined the taste of many dishes tried.
Service was excellent, prices OK.We wont return to either as the are plenty of other restaurantsof sensational food in short walking distance.

“A must to visit”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

We went at least 5 times sampling lots of dishes and could not fault one. The food was so delicious and the staff are great. Will certainly be going back to this one. Also, not forgetting the cocktails they have some really different tasty ones

“Good but prefer Cardamon”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

After dining at Cardamon we were really looking forward to trying the new sister restaurant. Certainly the decor was fresher and more modern than Cardamon but food and service wise it still has a way to go. For our starter we ordered the platter of Indonesian appetisers to share and then I ordered the prawns and my wife one of the appetisers as a main, pork belly in a green tea broth with noodles.

We found the mix of appetisers lacking in flavours and rather disappointing however this might be just that they did not suit our palate. My main, the grilled prawns, were very disappointing. They were served with a little bit of sambal which was absolutely flavourless and the prawns were over cooked and dried out. They had no sauce on them but on the bottom of the glass jar in which the skewers were served was a small amount of sweet chilli sauce which I assume was meant to be served with them; overall a disappointing dish. The pork belly in a green tea broth with noodles was the highlight of the meal and we could both recommend it.

We dined a second time at Cardamon and again thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the attentive service hence our recommendation at this stage to stick with the original restaurant.

“Absolutely incredible”
Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

Had dinner for four at the this restaurant and it was by far the best meal we had in Bali. It felt like fine dining from the amuse-bouche to the presentation and taste of the main course. Very modern and welcoming feel to the restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly.

“Fine dining without the high price”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

This is an amazing restaurant. Fine dining at its best. 10/10
Try the prawns, wagu beef or crispy pork. The lamb curry and rendang entree were also great too!
Beautiful atmosphere and the kids were happy with their pizza and complimentary ice-cream!
