At the end of our cruise we transferred to Conrad and stayed for three nights in a club suite. Really superb. We had a huge room and adjoining lounge/ dining/ kitchen area. Two fidges, a juicer, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. Air conditioning was suitably icey and refreshing as it was very hot outside. Our bed was enormous as was dressing and bathroom area too. I wanted to move in for good! We had fresh fruit, coffee pods etc left each day and bottled water too.
We ate breakfast in the Japanese restaurant buffet as part of the club status. Children were allowed in there too. Definitely worthwhile. Afternoon tea was perfect, marrying traditional western delicacies with Indonesian inspired tasty morsels. The evening canapés were taken in the attractive club lounge. Again we were given delicious Balinese snacks and a choice of many cocktails. We ate in two of the other restaurants. The set meal in the main restaurant was good value and gave us the opportunity to taste several Balinese dishes whilst being entertained by local musicians and dancers.
We loved this hotel and thought the elegant chapel, overlooking the sea would be a wonderful place to get married and then have a honeymoon. Really beautiful hotel. I would love to go back.More
