Had a nice evening at Queens of India. We ordered the chicken samoosas Chicken Vindaloo, butter chicken and latchada parathas. Chicken samoosas were a bit dry, the chicken Vindaloo was great and so was the butter chicken although a bit spicy. All in all a good restaurant. They have a free shuttle back to your hotel, not sure about pickup.

After experiencing the fare at our hotel in Nusa Dua over the first few days of holiday we decided to try the food at this indian restaurant. Over the years we have steered clear of Indian Restauants abroad as they rarely meet our expectations based upon our experiences in the UK.However, we thought we would give this one a try. The menu was very similar to one you would find in the UK and encouragingly there were a number of Indian families eating at the restaurant including about 16 who came in a bus!
When we arrived and sat at the table we were brought 1 poppadum and a small amount of pickles. When we asked for one each they seemed shocked. The Pop was very spicey and tasty. We decided to order 4 different meals between the 4 of us and have a bit of all of them together with some nann and rice. The flavours were very different to what one could normally expect in the UK but still flavoursome and tasty. The lamb and chicken melted in the mouth with the chicken quite possibly being the most succulent I have ever had. The nann breads were thin but again very tasty as was the mushroom rice. We sat at a table outside which was generally ok but the noise from the adjacent road and especially the constant squeal of small motorbikes did become a little annoying.
The service was very good and the cost reasonable. For the four of us including wine, beer and bottled water came to 800k rupiah (about £40). We went back a second night and had the same positive experience. This Indian Restaurant is not like one in the UK but it was well worth a visit.

Many visits to Queen's Seminyak and Jakarta before, but this is our first visit to Queen's of India at Benoa / Nusa Dua.

Facilities were nice, with outdoor / indoor seating. Ordered lamb curry 'Rogan Josh' which was very good, and grilled chicken which my 6yo and 8yo enjoyed. Food was good as always but a little pricey. Expect to shell out more if you're dining around Nusa Dua. Complimentary transport to nearby hotel was provided, with nice car and corteous driver.

Can't seem to find any Indian food in Bali other than Queen's group. Always my favorite in Bali.
