We loved our connecting rooms. The breakfast was awesome. The pool and beach were great. We were able to take advantage of the tour on the glass bottom boat and turtle island, lots of fun for the kids. Our massages were wonderful!!!

We had a great stay here for 3 nights; my only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We were traveling with a 10 month old infant and selected the all-inclusive gold package. The facilities were very good at the resort and not having to worry about finding somewhere to eat or have a relaxing beverage was great. We spent most of the time in the wonderful pool or lounging around on the sun lounges on the beach.

The staff were all fabulous; when we arrived we were taken to a relaxing sitting room for a hot face washer and cool drink while we completed the check in process. The house keeping team were always friendly and were happy to clean our room around our baby’s sleep time and more importantly always greeted us with a friendly smile and a chat. All the food & beverage staff at breakfast, lunch & dinner helped make our trip a great experience. One night while having dinner a couple of the staff we came to know whisked our baby away to another area of the restaurant so my wife and I could have a relaxing meal together. Every team member we met were so friendly and took the time to ensure we were well looked after. Australians hospitality outlets could really learn a thing or two from the Balinese about customer service that’s for sure.

We found the meal selections to be satisfactory and the quality to be good. We also had the option of eating at a Chinese restaurant at the adjoining property operated by the same company, the food and service was very good at this property also.

The room was adequate with a king size bed and a view of the pool and ocean. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get a way and chill out around the pool or beach without having the worry of where to go for meals or activities.

Thanks to all the great staff at the Grand Mirage Resort and Thalasso Bali, for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back for another stay in the near future, thats for sure.

Room Tip: Most rooms overlooking the pool have a nice view of the beach also.

We booked an all-inclusive stay at the grand mirage - including 2 kids aged 2 and 5. We didn't have to think about anything except enjoy the holiday. The staff were very friendly and kind, the resort grounds were well-maintained, there was plenty for the kids to do and the food and drink options were absolutely incredible with the deal. We all had the time of our lives!!! Surprisingly, the prices of the hawkers on hotel grounds was very reasonable compared to elsewhere. In comparison to other hotels in this class you could not really fault this hotel. Just a few minor improvement comments: (1) the hotel photographer was a little overbearing at times trying to sell photos, but always remained friendly and professional, (2) the hotel gift shops were very overpriced and had little of interest to us (3) i would like to see the beach footpath maintained beyond the hotel boundaries as a big attraction for visitors is to be able to take a long walk along the beach outside of the hotel grounds (perhaps all the hotels could combine some funds towards this, it would really help the local sellers too), (4) as with all other hotels it was really annoying to see people reserving beach lounges by popping their towels down early in the morning and then disappearing for most of the day. if you walked out on the grounds and looked around you would see all these empty chairs but on closer look they were all taken! (This is a comment to all future guests to have some consideration of others).

We would like to apologize if you experienced some inconvenience with our beach lounge. Please kindly be informed based on our hotel regulation, our staff keeps the right to clear up any towel from the beach lounge that is not occupied from two hours.

In regards to your comment about the beach footpath, please rest assures that we have taken seriously your insight as our future references to improve our facilities in the future.

great place to stay, good location & service. Pricing is amazing in the day spa. The resort offers many activities and everyone is catered for. I'm looking forward to our next visit and have told friends and family of our fabulous stay. The food variety was also amazing.

This was the first time we travelled as husband and wife (we just got married the day before we checked in to this hotel) and also introduced my husband to some part of where his wife was came from; Indonesia.That became his previlege to choose from the options I gave of where he would like to stay while we're on our honeymoon in 3 different areas in Indonesia; Bali, Lombok and Jakarta. I've been to Bali many times and staying in different types of accommodation from 2 to 4 stars hotel and frankly speaking, I am quite flexible so I guess this time I let my husband choosing it and he picked Grand Mirage Resort in Tanjung Benoa.
When we arrived at night time in Bali after the whole day journey from Australia (we live in Townsville, North Queensland), we were impressed of how the hotel atmosphere and the hospitality offered just when we got in (we enjoyed the welcome drink!) then when we were in our room, just making us feel even better, the ambience was soothing and it was just the room that suitable for us! We stayed on the second floor and we had a nice view from our room to the pool and even to the ocean.
As we both enjoy exploration and observation, we decided having a look around and after having walks along the beach, we agreed this hotel is better compare to the others as it has more space and access to the open beach which is quite private and secluded.
Although we did not do a special candle light dinner on the beach with a romantic setting), but to us it's just a good idea for people who really enjoy splurging occasionally and we don't mind to come back again someday.
Live dancing performance and friendliness from the staff is also one of the attraction to this hotel. Food catered people who stayed from different background and in general, this one was quite impressed us ^_^

Room Tip: Rooms are located away from the pool side are suitable for people who needs a decent rest and/or sle...

We first stayed at the Grand Mirage in July 2012, just my husband and I and found it very relaxing. We also thought what a great place it would be to bring our children. We took the kids, aged 12, 10 and 6 in December 2012 and had the best family holiday we have ever had. We had an Ocean View Suite and found it spacious, modern and absolutely spotless. We had full ocean views and the room was really quiet. The bathroom was huge and the room size was more than enough for our family of 5. It was cleaned daily and the freash frangipani on the pillows with 'sleep tight'on it were a favourite of our kids!
The buffet breakfast (included) was faultless and the staff are always accommodating and very helpful. Our kids loved the games room and the pool area was more than enough to entertain our kids! We found it easy to spend the days having fun in the resort!
The location of the Grand Mirage is also wonderful. It is out of the real hustle of Bali, yet close enough to get there easy enough.
Our next visit to Bali will definately include the Grand Mirage...it is a wonderful place

Our 5 day all inclusive package started wiyh a very warm welcome by Mr. Oka the guest relations manager in a cool chamber with an exsellent view and ambience. We were tied our gold band in a neat and comforting manner and we were very nicely escorted to our room. The rooms are spacious, air conditioning is excellent, minibar is well stacked. Only the rooms need some more of bright lighting bulbs or tubes at some place in the room especially for packing and changing. The restaurants are in plenty and the menus the grand mirage offers are of abundant choices of food and beverages all of which are of excellent world class quality.The staff is very friendly and help the guests wholeheartedly. The Rama theatre stage shows are very beautiful. Overall full value for the money spent.Definitely worth visiting again.
