Great place in Bali if you don't want to spend too much for a hotel in Bali. Stayed 7 days there, good breakfast buffet, rooms are clean, beach could be better, pool facilities are good. Overall nice hotel and conveniently located in a quiet area.

Was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews and the property does have its shortcomings but overall we we very happy. On arrival, the impression is that the hotel is past its prime - that it was once more grand than it now is. Yes, there was a gap between the sliding doors to our small courtyard and we did find a couple of mosquitoes in our ground floor room despite staff spraying each evening (might not be an issue higher up?) and there were no mosquito nets in our room as appear in the picture. Our over-bath shower did drain very slowly, to the point where it almost blocked but maintenance responded promptly and improved that situation. Bed was a typically firm low quality inner spring mattress but was comfortable enough. Room was equipped with a safe, A/c, fridge and lounge with large coffee table (ideal for the very good club sandwiches we ordered from room service when too tired to go the first night) as well as the outdoor table and chairs. Wifi was an extra and quite expensive but there were two computers in a small room off the lobby for guest use and many restaurants offer free wifi. Room was serviced to a high standard each day, the breakfast buffet was excellent and included daily changes and eggs (fried, scrambled or omelette) cooked expertly to order, and in a lovely setting.

But the highlight is the pool with plenty of room for young and old, abundant sun lounges in sun or shade, and if you couldn't get one right by the pool there were dozens more facing the beach just a few steps away.

We enjoyed walking along the beachfront in the morning or evening (a small torch is useful for returning at night) especially as current roadworks have made the road unsafe in places and very dusty. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. (Our favourite the Paon Beach Club.)

As older travellers who don't sleep particularly well, we always request a quiet room and I suspect the rooms at this hotel are generally quiet because it is so solidly built. However it is very difficult to close the doors without banging them so we were at times woken by these doors either late at night or early in the morning. On the other hand, the shutters on the sliding doors were very effective at shutting out light for those who like a sleep in.

Overall we were more than happy with our choice - due in no small part to the always warm, friendly and helpful Balinese staff.

Room Tip: Some rooms would have a beautiful view of the pool and beach. Rooms facing south are cooler. Hotel has 3 levels but no lift - we found the ground floor handy to the pool and beach.

I've stayed in over 10 different hotels in Nusa Dua, and this is the ONLY one I've ever been disappointed in. The room is... Fine. Nothing amazing, nothing too huge to complain about. The furnishings are outdated, but who cares, right?
The breakfast was abismal, with offerings like a tasteless Indian vegetable curry (my husband even says the potatoes were bad). The cereal was cheap, but cereal is cereal. The pancakes, French toast, and fried bananas were all good, but it was only one of those a day. The egg station was adequate, but the woman manning it seemed horrified if you asked for anything other than an omelet.
The fruit was fresh, and that's really the only good part.
We tried dinner from one of the other restaurants on sight, the Camboja, and it was terrible. My tuna steaks were over cooked and tasteless, and my husband's shrimp cocktail was just shrimp (shell on) with thousand island dressing.
The pool is small, and crowded. This is a family friendly establishment, which is great. The idea of adult only hotels weirds me out, but while we were there kids outnumbered adults, and so the volume level at the pool wasn't conducive to relaxation. Plus, there's a sign that says "one towel per guest, per day", which we thought was strange for a beachside hotel with a pool.
The beach itself is nice, but because its farther down Nusa Dua, in the water sports area of the peninsula, there isn't a whole lot of area to enjoy the water. Jet skis, parasailing, and banana boating are all going on right in front of the hotel.
Wifi isn't available anywhere in the hotel, except for an exorbitant fee. Usd$20 for 24 hours of access. That seems incredibly silly considering that the minimarts across the street is open 24/7 and has free wifi, as do almost all of the other hotels and restaurants on the area.

Over all we felt like we paid too much for what we received, especially given that the Oasis and Aston are comprably priced, and so much nicer.
We definitely won't return to the club Bali mirage.

Stayed for 2 nights - room was ok and they cld do well given their location.

Good for families. Its Kids friendly - a Big pool, kids station, Play room and yes the Beach !!
Water sports available next door. There is a free shuttle to Bali collection - which was good.
Busy & Safe street with lot of small eating joints outsdie the hotel.

We had a little surprise - there was a 'Rooster fight' next to the Resort - you can bet some dollars if you please !!

Stayed for 3 nights in July with my GF, found the room to be ok, it is getting old and as such the bathroom looked a little off. The tv, not that we intended to watch it was as old as the room, didn't bother us though. The breakfast was nice and the staff were good as always in Bali, the cleaning lady was really nice. Would try somewhere different next time but if unable to book something else around the same price would stay again. Ended up with two single beds......... we didn't say anything and probably should have as neither bed was comfortable.
