The Lodge at Ruddington
Ranked #2 of 2 Ruddington B&B and Inns

The Bollinger suite offers elegant, spacious accommodation on the second floor comprised by a large drawing room overlooking the verdant golf course, a bright, roomy bath, and an oversized bedroom accommodating three persons, in addition to a first floor bedroom for two persons. The appointments are luxurious and tasteful, typical of high-end properties but nonetheless great value at the price offered, especially for families or larger parties. Peter is an accomplished hotelier who delivers, with the help of an able staff, impeccable service and a sumptuous breakfast. The Garden Suite, his other offering, consists of a fair-sized room for two with en-suite, also nicely appointed though small in comparison with the Bollinger suite. This more modest accommodation opens into a walled and flowered courtyard with separate entry from the Bollinger. Again, don’t miss the breakfast, served in Peter’s airy kitchen.

A perfect stay for the 5 of us, taking over this most beautiful and sumptuously furnished B&B. We can fault nothing. Peter and his lovely Polish assistant made us very welcome, despite our quite late in the day arrival. Overlooking a golf course, The Lodge is very restful and tranquil; we could all sit in the living room together, chatting until the wee small hours, unlike some hotel accommodation where you Re confined to your bedroom. Choose to eat outside or in, the full English breakfast was superb, lots of it and nothing was too much trouble. Oh yes, and don't forget the cat! Alma, Peters very friendly, beautiful, black, Persian kitty, who will melt anyone's heart. Thank you one and all!

We stayed 2 nights in a spacious & elegant suite overlooking a golf course. Our hosts Peter and Natalija were most gracious & helpful. Located just outside Nottingham, this B & B is ideal for exploring the countryside & great base for cricket fans attending Trent Bridge.

Hidden away overlooking the golf course, one really feels one has "arrived" at this special destination from the moment the electronic gates open and close. Safely inside this oasis of comfort and excellent service, just chill out, relax, enjoy! Guests are given choices of time and content of breakfast and dinner can also be served at your leisure. Lovely to sit in the garden, weather permitting! Otherwise, the upper level guest suit is delightful and romantic!

We spent two nights at The Lodge, celebrating our wedding anniversary with a trip to the Theatre Royal in Nottingham and a One day International cricket match at Trent Bridge. The Lodge is perfectly situated for both, being a short bus ride away, saving the need to drive into Nottingham. The accommodation cannot be faulted, being scrupulously clean and comfortable, and it was a real pleasure to return to the tranquillity of The Lodge after our two long days out. Peter and Natalia are lovely friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.
