We stayed in the shepherd's hut at the Bed and Breakfast which is in it's own little field. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and although we only stayed for a night, the peace and quiet of the area was very relaxing and calming after a busy few days! We were welcomed with a fresh pot of tea and cake and shown to the hut which is very quaint and very private - All you can see are fields, horses and chickens. Not a car in sight! Heavenly! The service was lovely, and as we left early the next day, missing breakfast, we will cetainly be going back. A little piece of heaven on earth and fantastic if you want a break away frm the rush of normal life. Can't wait to revisit!!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Hill Farm for 2 nights at the end of March '10. The booking was very easy to make with both Mr & Mrs Darbishire being very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived at the farm (which wasn't too hard to find) we were given taken to our room which was really nice, in fact it was a seperate kind of annexe to the main house which we had all to ourselves. We were then provided with a pot of tea and fresh home made cake!

Hill Farm is a working farm with mainly cattle and sheep with a couple of horses and I believe that they accept people who would like to take their horse with them. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful in the middle of the Warwickshire countryside just outside of the village of Priors Hardwick. We went into the village on the first evening and ate in the pub/restaurant there which was really good although quite pricey with it. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was awesome!

We used Hill Farm as a base to visit the surrounding area as it is within driving distance of Warwick (incl. castle), Oxford, Straford-Upon Avon, to name a few.

Highly recommended we wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were visiting the area again.

I stayed 2 nights at Simon & Angela Darbishire's Hill Farm in May whilst attending a wedding. The farm is set in 450 acres of beautiful rolling countryside. A warm welcome awaits you on arrival. I stayed in Pumbletuke, accommodation with its own independent entrance. It comprised of a double room plus single room and private bathroom. Furnished very comfortably and with great charm. Slept like a log whilst there, and I haven't breakfasted so well in years. The surrounding country is perfect for idle walks. A sort walk into Priors Hardwick reveals a very posh and extremely good Portugese restaurant - so no need to drive anywhere to find dinner. I can't wait to find another excuse to go back and stay there again.
