If you're looking for an intimate and personal resort off the beaten path - this is it! My husband and I honeymooned here for a week and Keyonna Beach was so much more than we were expecting. We didn't want a huge resort with lots of other people and the private outdoor showers sealed the deal for us.

The resort is located on the beach and our cottage had a romantic view of the sunset each night. The resort is somewhat rustic but heavenly. Our room was always clean and beautifully decorated with flowers from around the resort grounds. The electricity on the island is not reliable and the power went out for several hours each day. This wasn't a problem for us as we spent our time outside and the power was always restored in time for the air conditioning to cool our room for the night. You can also hear some road noise as the road is behind the resort but didn't take away from our vacation.

Breakfast and lunch are taken outside under beautifully shaded tables and dinner is served under a covered area (in case of rain!). Shirts and cover ups are required during meals but there is no dress code. Most couples dress up a bit for dinner but shorts and sundresses are acceptable. The food at Keyonna Beach is outstanding! I highly recommend the breakfast specials, the soups are delicious, and the dinners are incredible.

The staff is friendly and their service is exceptional. The staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Francine, Shenneth, Victoria, and Javin are wonderful.

Although the resort does not offer amenities (snorkeling, diving, etc) there are some services that will pick you up by boat from the resort. We had planned to go on excursions but were so happy we didn't leave the resort all week.

Highly, highly recommended!

The approx. 1/2 mile long beach was beautiful, and facing west provided great sunsets. Inga and Francine were great help the first day when our bags did not make it out of Miami. Inga swung into action getting us the appropriate toiletries and necessary clothing for 24 hrs w/o luggage. Francine provided the warmth of the place and we felt right at home. Shenneth, Vicky, Jevin, Dwayna (sorry for any spelling errors) were just great-we asked what the best local fish was (red snapper) and we got it the next night. Meals were served overlooking the beach with nice ocean breezes. Food was fresh and very tasty, but the wine selection was weak, advertizing Maipe from Argentina we got Sutter Home from the US-not.!The rooms were very nice, but the shower pressure in #34 was a dribble most of the time (outdoors was nice but...). Overall the people make this place and we will be back (and hopefuuly the showers and toilets will be better)

Great for couples, location is great just in front of the sea, very few rooms, small but comfortable. Service is by far the best of this hotel, everyone is extremely friendly working on making your stay as great as possible (and they accomplished the mission!). Food is great and tasty, beach is extremely nice and quiet. It is a must go for couples looking for a relaxed, nice vacation.

When my wife and I began planning our vacation, we both wanted to pick a spot that was private and more personal. We were not looking for a large "cookie cutter" style resort. We came across Keyonna Beach, and it seemed like a perfect fit. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us and made us feel right at home. The location combined with the boutique feel of the hotel was just what we were looking for. At one point during our stay, we were one of three couples at the hotel. Our room boasted amazing views of the ocean, which was a stones throw from our patio. The staff really defines Keyonna Beach! Their friendly nature and dedication to make our stay enjoyable shined every day. The food was AMAZING!! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was always fresh and something we definitely looked forward to. Our trip was originally planned for 10 days, but our stay was extended because of cancelled flights due to a hurricane back in the States. Andrew and his wonderful staff made sure we were housed and taken care for during the additional 3 days. They even checked in with us after we returned home, to make sure everything was okay. This place will not dissapoint. We highly recommend Keyonna Beach and plan on returning very soon.

My husband and I booked our honeymoon in Keyonna Beach, we really wanted to experience a relaxing and laid back trip in a great location. The other great reviews on tripadvisor really swung the deal for us and we are very glad we went!

First and foremost, the food is amazing. We had read prior to arrival that the a la carte menu was divine and we were not let down. The restaurant area is small and relaxed, very informal. They served us fresh bread every meal, every day, which was a bonus! The staff had our water/bread/drink choices down by the third or fourth day, it is that special attention that is lacking in larger resorts. The menu was extremely varied, I cannot recall not liking something on the menu and fresh seafood was on every day. Surprisingly for resorts abroad, the deserts were AMAZING- coconut pie, apple tart, chocolate cake, cheesecake, all fresh and well made. Our ONLY negative feedback about the food is that we as a couple do not care for 'dining entertainment' which made an appearance twice during our ten day stay but may be more of a personal preference.

We had upgraded to the cottages, which we would recommend. Our outside shower was great, although would have liked an indoor/bath option, but not a big deal. We had a mini bar that was well stocked, I have a diet coke addition which was not unnoticed by the cleaners whom removed the sprite/regular coke to allow for more diet coke. Much appreciated!

Something to keep in mind when booking, is that a 'party boat' seems to rock up on the beach once a week. They were very loud and boozy (which isnt what we had in mind when we booked Keyonna Beach) and sat on the hotels Bali beds. But it is important to note, the hotel can do nothing about this, as all beaches in Antigua are public.

Keyonna Beach is about relaxation, great food and location. If your after evening entertainment, bingo and 'mexican night' then it isnt for you. It provides great quality locate food and simple decor. The focus really is the beach- Turners Point is beautiful. We are so glad we spent our honeymoon here and we would return in a heartbeat!

My husband and I spent six nights here in early June. We had an amazing time. We stayed in a cottage; very simply decorated with a great outside shower. The furthest we went for the first few days was a bale on beach and the restaurant. It took us three days to walk to the other side of the hotel and realize there was a pool. In other words it's perfect if your looking for a place to get away from the world. The beach is beautiful and quiet; the water is crystal clear and calm, and we made fast friends with the dogs hanging out on the beach. I'm very leery of all inclusive hotels because the food is usually inedible. The food at Keyonna was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Mango's grow plentifully all over the island. We casually mentioned to a server that we thought it was funny that it was the only fruit not in the breakfast fruit plate. The next day she sent in Mango's for us, probably from her home garden. Such a sweet, personal touch that you can "train" staff to do.
