A little gem hidden up in the mountains behind Menton.
Was there with my wife on 1st of May weekend. The location, especially the outside terrace is just amazing! You have an incredible panoramic view of Menton, Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. Food is really home made. Mostly pasta that you can order with various sauces at your choice. Nothing particularly "haute cuisine" but it was tasty and well prepared. And for such a location the price really reasonable, we ended up with 20eur each with starter, main, desert and wine.
Definitely recommend! And before or after eating, don't miss visiting the village!

I ordered the hot chocolate - the others in my party didn't and boy were they sorry. Very thick and delicious and don't miss it

Although it's obviously a tourist trap, the prices aren't too bad. Plenty of pasta for the money and the hostess was happy to advise on both vegetarian and vegan options

If you are down on the coast in December and its clear and sunny, head up the twisting road to St Agnes, find the Righi, get a table on the terrace with a few plates of local cheese, charcuterie and rustic bread, order a beer or two from the Castillon brewery (only 4 Km away) and believe you've gone to heaven. They also have a restaurant which seemed to be very popular but too much food detracts from the views !

This restaurant is situated high up with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean coastline from the Italian border to Cap Martin. To be sure of the best view sit on the terrace and book during high season. We were there for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was nearly full, consequently the service was a bit slow. There were two table d'hote menus of respectively 28 and 23 euros, the difference being accounted for by a cheese course which was very limited. There was a good buffet as the entrée with the 23 euro menu. There was children's menu for 10 euros: this consisted of pasta or steak hache and a dessert. Overall the food was not bad but nothing special. we thought it overpriced - you are paying for the view.
