Aruba Beach Villas is a sparkling facet of the crystal of an Island that is Aruba. It provides an opportunity to enjoy the riches of the island from a convenient location at a reasonable price. The Villa’s owner Phil together with his welcoming staff provides fresh accommodation to suit varied budgets. Ocean facing Villa’s provide immediate visual exposure to the sparkling sea across the road. Villa’s in the courts open up to visually pleasant arched architecture and tropical gardens. The central grand patio that is covered and fringed with regularly blooming purple flowered vines provides cover from direct sunlight and sea view to all for magnificent sunsets. Multiple tables enable guests to realize that if a magazine patio award were given on the island this sanctuary would certainly be the cover shot. Palm trees interspaced with indigenous trees, flowering vines, plants and cacti provide shade and pastel coloring to the grounds. Should you happen to Windsurf the kit loft provides harbour to a full range of well stocked appropriate equipment to suit varied levels. Michele will provide a seasoned recommendation for the moment’s equipment choice that reflects from his island experience for your consideration. Phil and Michele’s skill on the sea provide inspiration for uniting with the windswept blue highway. In the event that your preference is to Kiteboard Michele’s windsurfing speed is entertainingly surpassed by his vertical meandering when Kiteboarding at any island bay so he is able to assist you with applicable information. Marjan of solar radiance at the front desk will be happy to help you as she assists in your landed travel needs. For simple beauty and divergence from the masses this abode is divine. Returning and new guests quickly nestle in with shared beaming smiles.

We have been staying at Aruba Beach Villas the last seven years. There are times we go as a family of four and a few times I have gone by myself. As a woman, there are not many places I would travel alone. I have felt completely safe at Aruba Beach Villas and never alone. There is always somebody to have breakfast, lunch, or happy hour with on the veranda that has the best sunset view complete with a DiviDivi tree.

We have been staying at Aruba Beach Villas for the windsurfing. You can't beat the convenience. You first consult with Michele on the size of gear for the day, and I must say - he has never steered us wrong, yet. You grab your sail from the sail barn each morning, all rigged and set to go, grab a board, and walk on to the beach for time on the Blue Highway. We have looked around to see if we should stay someplace new, but we end up sticking with Aruba Beach Villas because the convenience and price can't be beat.

Plus, we like the quiet of the place. This is no big resort with mobs of people. There are just a few of us who become fast friends on the veranda. However, when we do want to go to town for dinner, we simply hop on the bus for less than $2.50 round trip. The bus stop is right in front. Or we can even walk just a half an hour down the beach to some of our favorite restaurants and, most importantly, the gelato place. We walk home in the evenings from dinner along the beach and, again, feel completely safe.

The rooms are clean and come with a complete kitchen that has everything you need. We bring food from home or stop at the grocery store and cook our breakfasts, lunches, and sometimes dinners in the room and then eat out on the veranda. It's very simple and easy living.

We hope to be back again next year (fingers crossed).

My husband and I and my two teenage daughters (13 and 15) spent a week at the Aruba Beach Villas. We had a great time! We are a very active family so we took advantage of the great variety of equipment that ABV makes available to guests. We loved being able to snorkle and kayak right in front of our place - no trekking off to rent equipment and it was never crowded or touristy feeling. We also took advantage of the windsurfing lessons. Although it was much more difficult than it looks, our instructor was patient and very helpful. There really couldn't have been a more perfect way to spend the days with your family. We were not rushed, the weather and water were beautiful and we learned (and laughed!) with (and at) each other. And, after our active days, we relaxed on our deck watching the amazing sunsets. The setting of ABV really is perfect, especially if you are not into the touristy vacation. We felt like we had our own place on the beach. We had reserved a two bedroom unit with a kitchen area and when we arrived, we were not disappointed. It was so spacious and was really more like an apartment. We asked the office staff (friendly, always helpful) where we could get food and wine to stock up our room. The light complimentary breakfast each morning was a nice treat. Each evening we would have our own appetizers and wine on our deck first, then we went out to eat at some of the recommendations of the office. There’s plenty to do at night, and definitely some nice restaurants; beautiful outdoor settings. We did eat in twice after discovering that we could grill right outside our room (fresh fish and veggies!) then, sat on the deck and played games we brought. All in all, we were so glad we stayed at the Aruba Beach Villas. The accommodations were perfect and gave us exactly what we wanted in our stress free getaway – fun activities (pool, hot tub, all equipment for water sports (and free!!!), comfortable and spacious sleeping accommodations, a kitchen area that allowed us many conveniences, a beautiful setting right on the beach, and excellent service, from giving lessons, directions and advice to keeping the rooms nice and clean. We hope to be able to visit again very soon. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I just returned from Aruba and stayed at the Villas. While its location is excellent and room was decent the overall experience was a letdown. First, the website advertises the room is 120 feet from the ocean. While that is accurate they fail to mention you cannot swim in this area due to lots of rocks and other spikey objects. Simply walking in and floating around is impossible. Reef shoes are needed. While I do not windsurf it looks amazing in this area. There are several superb swimming locations at Arashi Beach and naturally Palm Beach is just a minute drive away. The room (shores 12) was poor. The bed was comparable to sleeping on the floor in terms of stiffness & there is no comfortable place to relax and watch TV. They gave us a small love seat that is impossible to spread out on and nap. By the way, our bathroom was overun by small ant-like insects. Everytime we went in there we had to get rid of 10-20. The deck and sunsets are amazing and that saved this experience from becoming a failure. The housecleaning and grounds keeping staff are superb. Very very nice people. The same cannot be said of the office staff. The younger dutch gentleman who works the desk is flat out rude. If you ask for extra towels he actually will ask you why you need them! His aloofness is obvious and is made clear in his lack of effort. The girl working in the office was nicer and more helpful. Overall, I would stay here again but not anytime soon. If they can improve on hospitality and make the rooms more cozy it would carry them farther.
