My partner and I booked a surprise trip through a travel agent t and had no idea what we were in for. Our stay at Swiss Paradise was incredible from the moment we stepped onto the Villa, Juerg was extremely attentive, showed us where everything was as well as gave us the rundown of the best eateries, beaches and more. He made himself very available during our stay so have no fear if you’re also a first timer in the island. We had a 1 bedroom Villa with a private garden w/ hot tub. Everything was clean, up to date and the private hot tub area was a dream! Housekeeping is every other day and they are friendly + do an incredible job each time. The Villa itself it beautiful with gorgeous stones along the path inside to each private entrance accompanied by a beautiful pool for lounging. Kitchen & grill area are shared but it is never crowded. The location is perfect for those looking to get away from the business of the island but still be close enough to get around via car to all parts of the island. Would absolutely recommend and we will be back. The only reason this is not 5 stars is that our room was located right across from where the trash area was and 2 days of our trip unfortunately we did smell it a bit, it did not linger though and wasn’t a total inconvenience. If you want a beautiful luxury location, fantastic place to relax + friendly host, and a quiet place to relax this is your spit! Our stay at the Swiss Paradise was a DREAM! The proprietor, Juerg, has created a beautiful and well-appointed oasis and is an amazing host. His gracious hospitality began even before we arrived when he texted us with crucial travel and car rental information. And when we mentioned that we would be celebrating a birthday, he offered a recommendation for a wonderful restaurant—The Flying Fishbone—with delicious food and an awe-inspiring sunset view from the shore. Our room—Little Villa Swiss 2—was impeccably appointed and a perfect fit for the three of us (2 adults and our teenage daughter). The beds were super comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen appliances were all in great condition. The pool just steps from our door was well-maintained and a perfect place to take a dip at the beginning or end of each day. The Swiss Paradise is an intimate boutique hotel ideal for both families and for a romantic getaway only minutes away from the beaches, restaurants, shops, and casinos. We tried seven of the restaurants (from fine dining to local-favorite casual fare), three of the beaches, and two of the supermarkets that Juerg recommended and loved them all. He was onsite each day and checked in without being intrusive—truly an ideal host. This was our first visit to Aruba and we can't wait to come back for an even longer stay at The Swiss Paradise.
