“Fun and nature”

When you arrive it looks sparse, but this is a maize maze, you make your own fun, we played hide and seek and tag, it's about getting back to basics, we took young kids up to teens including adults and once they loosened up we spent about 3 hours hiding and laughing

“A field with few games!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

Took my son here, its a big field with a bouncy castle (£1 extra for all day use),mini tennis, swingball, 2 space hoppers for toddlers, dig for treasure with metal detector but nothing to dig into the solid hard mud with, skittles and 2 ball games. A hut where you pay entrance and drinks and food with seating area. Also 4 manual ride along go karts. The maize was big but scary and covered in bugs to which my son refused to enter it plus it had been trampled on into the mini maize maze.
We were in there about half hour before my son was bored stiff. Asked for refund and got money back totally not worth the money. Could have bought majority of these games in tesco for the back garden!

“Maze was ok, but VERY over priced”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

We took the kids here for a treat, and whilst the maze was ok, it cost us over 20 pounds to get in. The maze was interesting for less than an hour (although part of it wasn't even operational - no stamps were available for the medals for mooves, but we weren't told about this until we complained), and then we could play in the 'fun yard'. The 'fun yard' consisted of a few play areas, in full sun, absolute miles from the toilets, and even then, many of the activities still cost extra.

As for the toilets, it is hard to know where to begin. The one toilet for the whole farm is a looong way from any other attraction, and although newish, they clearly have not been cleaned since they were built. Of all the toilets we have visited in recent years, these win the prize for being the filthiest. The floors were caked with mud (ok, it is a farm) but the hand basins were covered in dirt and the toilet rolls were on the floor becasue there isn't even a basic toilet roll holder. Apparently the mens was even worse.

So overall, this place charges a huge entry fee for the maze. If you are happy to pay for that, then it is worth a visit, but if you aren't into mazes, then I wouldn't waste the money.
