“Loved it!! Dont ever change!”

This beautiful and elegant B and B was just what we needed. It was friendly welcoming and the room they had organised for us for our anniversary was sooo lovely and felt like our own apartment. Both Ian and Anika were friendly and welcoming. The food!! OMG the food! was amazing, such a wonderful array of fresh organic products and such an exquisite choice of flavours.
I would not change a thing about this little gem, its quirky, clean comfy and have never had such a lovely stay in such a lovelty area.
Dont change a thing, its a precious gem in Tintern!!

Room Tip: Ask for the big king suite its fdantatstic and the same price as a normal one too.....

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in April 2013. Accommodation was warm and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and Annika and Ian were friendly and very helpful. They provided many "personal touches" and excellent, accurate advice of where to walk and places to eat.

Our little two night getaway coincided with my husband's birthday and a special meal was prearranged by email through Anika. She was super efficient at responding and nothing was to much trouble for her. On arrival, as it was available, we were offered the choice of a larger room which we accepted. It was extremely clean, comfortable and cosy. Anika's attention to detail is second to none and she supplies everything in the room that one may possibly need.Meals were a real treat cooked to perfection by Ian. Our birthday dinner was served in the candlelit dining room infront of the roaring fire and was devine. Ian and Anika provide a wonderful personal service and are the most charming informative hosts without been intrusive. We loved this B/B and and it comes Highly Recommended.ps forgot to say that there is lots to see and do in this very beautiful area.

Room Tip: Room at the back has a king size bed, ensuite and its own private entrance

Greeted by Anniika & Ian and made to feel very welcome. The bed was most comfortable with feather pillows (my favourite) , slept really well.
In the morning an excellent breakfast cooked by Ian, Annika gave many many tips on places to visit in the area.

Room Tip: good location for walking and visiting the area - guest book had many glowing comments too.

We stayed here for a two night weekend break with Rosie, our dog. We were warmly welcomed, the accommodation is comfortable, warm and clean and the breakfast is well cooked and enjoyable. You really can't go wrong if you stay here!

We came out here for new year's and had to cut our trip short because of being called back in to work. Ian and Anika were very sweet to allow us to use our un-used days another time. Our next trip was even nicer. With great early spring weather and the peace and quiet of the wonderful Old Rectory B&B we had a super stay. The rooms & beds are lush: we had a very relaxing sleep. The breakfast was truly something to look forward too.

I organised to stay here with my boyfriend as a surprise, I kidnapped my boyfriend and brought him here. This stay although only one night was amazing, Anika was very accomondating from organising this surprise right through to accoumondating our every need during our stay. The breakfast we experienced was out of this world and was throughly delicous, was a lovely and enjoyable way to start the day. our room had very pictursque views and the room was very clean tidy and had lots of personal details and touches. very enjoyable stay and i cannot express how greatful we are to our hosts. this was a very relaxing stay in a very quite rural area that had so much to do. much appreciated to Ankias friendly knoweldge and chat, she gave us plenty of suggestions on what we could do as my boyfriend is currently having walking issues due to a accident and Ankia was very accomondating to this too. Even though these hosts have dogs we were very unaware of this in till having discussions with Ankia the dogs were very quite and the B&B very clean you would never know. really looking forward to comming back when boyfriend more able to walk further and make more memories would def stay here again the bed was very comfy
