The cottages are large and comfortable, decorated in an African style. The decor manages to be attractive and original - without being "twee".
We had the (optional) dinner at Sneezewoods (the in-house restaurant). The chef strives to present the guests with some traditional South African cuisine - we had delicious starters of deep fried mealie meal balls, boerewors, mealie bread and garlic mushrooms, followed by fabulous ostrich and chicken poitjie. (Vegetarians are also catered for). Dessert was a sinfully rich caramel tart...!
The staff even sang for us before saying goodnight for the evening.
(And the owners have a beautiful German Shepherd called Jack...)
