We stayed at Manuia for 5 nights in a triple share room, room number 21.
The room was great, very clean, awesome outdoor shower and nice comfy beds. The room was quiet as it was not right on the beach but not right at the back either. The resort was beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and a beautiful beach area. The pool is fantastic and a great place to relax for a meal or drink. The sand floor restaurant was also great, the breakfasts were good, nice selection of food including yummy pancakes! A good thing is that the dinner menu is changed daily so you get variety. We had lunch there twice and both times the meals were great. Dinner was also great and the fish was cooked perfectly. They have a great range of cocktails and they are priced well at $12 or $14 ea. All of the staff at the resort (every single one) was extremely friendly and helpful and always keen to help. The best thing of all is that there are no children, we were having a Holiday away from our children so the last thing we wanted to hear was other peoples children!! The resort is also in a great location as there are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance. The only problem i had was that i had to sit by the office to use the wifi as they are having issues with it at the moment. But they have a lounge for you to sit in so i was still comfy anyway. I would highly recommend Manuia to everybody as they made our holiday perfect! We will definitely be back

Kevin & I stayed at Manuia Beach Resort in late October early November this year. We cannot speak highly enough of the resort, the people and how everyone made us feel part of their 'family'. We were in a beach front cabin with amazing views, the cabin itself was great, especially the private outside shower! The staff are wonderful, the restaurant food was lovely and the fresh local produce was wonderful. Our thanks to everyone, Alex and his team have created a resort that is a joy to stay at - we will be back!

Room Tip: The beach front cabins offer the most amazing views and sunsets

We stayed at Manuia Beach Resort for our recent holiday to Raro, it was fantastic. Alex and the other staff made our stay one to remember, especially when we got engaged on the sand with a specially designed private dinner for two on the beach! The staff were all so friendly and the facilities were great! Loved, loved, loved the private outdoor showers in our villas. And management happy hour drinks on Monday's were a great way to meet other couples. Would return again in an instant!

Room Tip: We preferred having a room slightly back from the beach as it was nice and private

We stayed at Manuia Beach Resort in October with a small travel group. On our arrival from the airport, which is not far away, we received a very warm welcome and were shown to our cabins. Ours was number 18, a garden cabin, which was just fine. Outside on the porch were two chairs, a table and a large bowl filled with water & flowers to dunk our sandy feet in before going inside. There was also a broom there to clear sand away.

Inside was spacious, with a comfortable queen bed and 2 (not 1!) bag holders. There was sufficient cupboard space, a large mirror, a safe and a small fridge, also tea & coffee making facilities. The bathroom was well set up and we loved the enclosed outdoor shower with a handy clothes line and plenty of shampoo, soap and body lotion.

The outdoor area was always clean & neat, with plenty of sunlounges, umbrellas and chairs, right on the beach. The infinity pool was kept sparkling clean and was lovely to relax in. The beach restaurant was so relaxing, with its sandy floor and friendly, helpful staff. The tropical breakfast, with yummy pancakes, was good as were the other meals we enjoyed there. Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm was much appreciated.

Beach walking is very pleasant but the water is too shallow for swimming but nice to relax in. Sunsets were brilliant.

So, our 6 night stay was wonderful and we congratulate the owners on such a well-run establishment. Any needs we had were promptly attended to. W also loved the fact that it was adults only.

Twenty or so years ago we stayed here, it was new, and probably the finest resort on the island.
Recently, we returned to the island for a wedding, but stayed elsewhere.
We had occasion to visit the Manuia, firstly for the wedding, and then many occasions over the next few days.
Over time since our last visit, the rooms have been refurbished (as you would expect) to a very high standard.
The staff were very friendly, happy to oblige and quick with their service, the food and drink costs were reasonable given the high standard offered.
The surroundings beautiful and well kept, some of the wedding party made the same comments I made 20 years ago . . . those chickens are very annoying at 5am ! My friends who stayed there complained about being woken up every morning.
We plan on a return to Raro, and would be more than happy to stay here.

We had the best time at Manuia. The staff were friendly, smiley, more than happy to have a chat and help out with anything they could...and then there is the view! We stayed beach front and got married amongst the coconut palms at Manuia and just could not have asked for a better location or people to help us out, from ironing problems, to keeping flowers cold, to driving us around during wedding prep, to helping take food into our room, everything! Loren is beyond amazing, with a very awesome hubby too! We had so much fun, yet were able to relax thoroughly on the very perfectly maintained grounds. Visitors who attended our wedding all commented how our resort was so much better than theirs, so much more peaceful and personal than big cold massive hotels. Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Room Tip: Beachfront all the way!

Thanks to all the great reviews on Trip Advisor my husband and I selected this resort for a 2 day lay over - it exceeded expectations and we will definitely return. Everything about this place was perfect - from the welcoming management and staff, to the lovely villa rooms, to showering outdoors under a the full moon, to the great bar and restaurant on the beach, with yummy food and drinks not to mention the location - sunset central! No need to go anywhere else, just slip off your shoes, and never put them on again - wiggle your toes in the sand and sip a most delicious Pina Colada - life really doesn't get much better than this

Room Tip: either lagoon front rooms or ones straight back, which have a garden and lagoon view
