OK - call me picky. We went in for lunch. We were on Rarotongan time. But to bring drinks, 25 minute??????? And the coke was flat? Then to prepare a salad and a very average seafood chowder, almost and hour?????

Raro time or not, that was NOT good! Though taste was OKish..... Setting and ambiance? Fabulous.

Try it out yourselves and good luck...........

Great restaurant right on the waters edge. Sunsets are stunning. Menu is well rounded, something for every one.

This was my first visit to Waterline, despite having been to Rarotonga several times. It will definitely be on my regular restaurant list from now on when we visit.
The staff were very good, even moving us to a better table when it became free. Food was very nice and similar in price to other restaurants on the island. Interesting decor, and good water views.

It was a shame there was no music the night we went, so definitely keen to go back on my next holiday there when there is.

The food was not the best we'd had on the island but the sunset was so beautiful that it didn't matter.

If it hadnt been recommended to us from fellow kiwis we would not have known its existance. It doesnt look much from the view from the road but once we got inside the building we loved it. The Waterline is located right on the beach so you have a fabulous view of the reef, sunset and beyond. There are small intimate tables, and our meals were fabulous. We noticed that the chef was wearing a 'Masterchef' apron and if he hadn't been in 'Masterchef' he should of been, we were that impressed. The service was also very polite and hospitable. Our only regret was that we coudnt make it on a Wednesday or Friday when they have live music. That would have been the icing on the cake. :-)
