“A must to visit, especially Wednesday night.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2011

Waterline is a MUST to dine at, any evenig but if you like live music as you dine then Wednesday is the night. We were told about Waterline by a friend and every time we visit Raro this is a must to visit. You can watch the sun set from either your restaurant table, or walk down the stairs and sit at tables, beach frontage.
The food is fantastic, the waitress incrediable and the views breathtaking. And as for the entertainment, it will be an evening that you will never forget. (u wont want to leave on the jet plane!!)
And if your not eating then either having a few beers at the bar or on the beach the Waterline is a great place to end a day of sightseeing..

“Perfect atmosphere - you can't get any better than this!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2011

Our big family group went twice during our 6 days holiday in Rarotanga, first for lunch, then booked the dinner on their Wednesday night, which is a very popular time as it has live entertainment.

Lunch was excellent - while the menu was limited - with mostly sandwiches or salads, all ingredients were fresh and I had the best grilled fish sandwich for a long time. Price was also very reasonable, ranging from $12.50 - $14.50. Food came out in record time. The best was the setting - it's casual and not big, but it is right on the beach and there's a flight of stairs and you are on the sand. There are even some tables on the beach itself. Service was friendly and we happily booked the dinner for Wednesday night.

That was a wise move - as on Wednesday night when we got there, it was full! We arrived at 6:15, just in time to watch the sun set at our table. Live entertainment started at 7, and that guy was very good. Even with a full house the food came very quickly. Most of the food was good, except for the shrimp dish - apparently there were no fish in the island therefore that was the substitute. Still, we really like this place and would highly recommend anyone to give it a go.

“Really delicious food!”

We had a lovely night here despite the rain. They were lovely with our kids. All the meals we had were great and of generous size. Really nice staff and gorgeous location, right on the beach.

“Magnificent Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2011

Lovely walk from our hotel (Edgewater) along the beach. The food was great as was the entertainment. Great place to have dinner as well as relaxing with a drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful and entertained my young niece well.

“Great Sizziling Seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2011

Great beachside location, perfect for a sunset dinner for two. If you're staying near by I recommand walking along the beach - but take a tourch, it does get dark on the beach at night and the sand is quite rocky.
I had fish of the day - a huge steak of game fish beautifully prepared, and my partner had the sizziling seafood platter, which was not only huge but very delicious.
The restaurant itself has a great beachy feel, with wood floors and quirky decorations. Make a trip down for a nice sunset dinner.
