This was our fifth visit to Belcote and I think that says it all. We had another great week with our Grandchildren. Super living space which is straight onto the garden which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Ideal location for the beach which makes life easier for mum and dad. Superb utility room which is a great bonus. The twins aged four said it was " just perfect." We will be back. Heartily echo all the other excellent reviews.

Elie is a favourite of our for day trips & long weekends away. On this occasion we wanted to return to Elie to celebrate dad's 90th birthday. He & mum used to holiday their for 2 weeks every year in their younger years together. We felt it would be very special to return with them for a family holiday. Belcote Cottage was the perfect choice. Unfortunately mum & dad are not as mobile as they used to be so it was great that they had a double bedroom & bathroom on the ground floor. There was also enough beds for the another 8 of us, 4 generations all under the one roof. The cottage is very comfortable with a large open plan lounge area & kitchen with ample space to accommodate us all. The owner seems to have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage has a clean, bright, modern feel to it. You can check the website to view all that it has to offer & I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. We loved the garden. It was a sun trap & very sheltered. There is a large timber garage/games room at the bottom of the garden which houses a full size table tennis table & lots of other things for the kids & adults to play with. There is also a bbq & a chimnea which we made good use of. Elie beach is literally seconds away through the rear gate. There is a windbreak & deck chairs which we took to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Super holiday home in lovely location. Ideal property for our group with ages ranging from 0.5 yrs - 60+. Wiith excellent beach so close, secure garden and lots of stuff to play with the kids were extremely happy bunnies. Plenty to see and do in and around St Andrews . First time we"d stayed for more than a day trip in Scotland and delighted we chose Elie Cottage for the week - even the sun shined most of the time!

Belcote cottage is well appointed,spacious and clean and very comfortable and so close to a lovely beach. A good base to explore Fife and many other places of interest. Would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday in the Fife area.

What can I say that hasn't already been said, our 2nd year running staying at Elie Cottage, its spacious, welcoming and perfectly located. We have two young children, both love the house, garden and location as much as we do, beautiful beach, great amenities, have to also recommend the Pavilion for a great place to eat out with the family. What could relax you better than a perfect beach, a perfect house for a family, perfect place and a log burner to enjoy a glass of vino by in the evening, will certainly be back soon. Thank you.

Had a great weekend. Party of 7. Plenty space in house. House only a minute from beach. Even in Feb the beach was lovely to walk along. We will be back.
