“Domaine O' is rightly rated as No.1 attraction!”

I'd like to use this as an opportunity to express our (Helen & Keith) gratitude to Liz, Joe, Ryan and Muse for making such a memorable evening for us - Sat 15th Sept.

We, along with a few other really lovely couples, had a fabulously entertaining, informative and hilarious time in the capable and kind hands of the O'Connells and their good friends.

If you have the opportunity, you should not hesitate to embark on this visit, which far exceeds 'Five star' !

“Fabulous Evening”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

We had a very agreeable evening, drinking, experiencing wonderful hospitality and learning about grapes and the wonderful wine that Joe, Liz and Ryan produce. The mix of guests was very entertaining and worked brilliantly. The food and the wine just kept coming. Even Muse the dog got in on the act to make sure we had a good time. Many thanks again and hope to return when we travel in the area again.

“What a night!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

We visited O'Vineyards with our two teenage children and had a fantastic experience. Joe took us on a tour of the vineyard and wine-making area accompanied by Muse the dog. Joe was informative, amusing and totally down to earth. Plenty of tasting and info. about each wine, without any pretentiousness.

Then inside for more wine tastings with various appetisers/finger foods. A delicious beginning to what proved to be a gourmet eating experience. 14 of us including Joe and Liz the owners, dined at a large table; it was a warm and friendly dinner with the feeling of being with family/close friends. Course after course of delights were brought out - pears with Rocquefort wrapped in puff pastry, hand made spring rolls, apples stuffed with home made black pudding, turkey with tarragon, a caramelised pork dish accompanied by mashed potatoes with brie, creme brulee fo dessert and last but not least the cheese course. All accompanied by various vintages of superb O'Vineyards red wine. It felt as if my glass was bottomless!!! What a sublime experience.
I would highly recommend a visit to O'Vineyards. Thanks Joe and Liz.

“Wonderful evening”

Great fun, great food, great sleep, great company, great wine! Many thanks. We came from Toulouse with another couple and their pre-teen boys. My wife had pre-alerted to gluten-intolerance and everything was accommodated wonderfully and gracefully.

“Awesome experience at O'Family”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

We toured the region and booked it based on travelers' impressions for Late August 2012. We get there around 4 pm for one night, tour and dinner. The stay absolutely exceeded our expectations. The welcome was very friendly and the room impeccable, starting with a bottle of superb wine! The house is extremely spacious with plenty of open and hidden places, excellent decorated. We admit not being wine connoisseurs, however weren't even aware to know so little about wineries and wine culture, especially in France. Joe gave us an impressive tour. He has the unique mix of passion for his hobby, humor and knowledge as well as the smile and tolerance for novices' out of the blue questions..... :-). His comments reminds us fathers talking about their beloved kids....We never had so much wine in our life with practical zero impact, at the highest superlative levels on any possible criteria. After the tour we sit altogether, getting better acquainted complemented with wine tasting. A delightful dinner was then served. The hosts + 4-5 couples from around the world, by a long stylish table make a perfect ambiance to break some bread together and pursue the talking and laughing! In this arena, Liz undoubtedly is leading the pack, creating the necessary glue between strangers from different countries and cultures by breaking potential boundaries. Complement it with the excellent food and unlimited wine, and you get a 3-4 hours dinner with no will to leave or slightest chance to go asleep. People sharing different experiences + wine create an amazing story teller session, not ever to be missed! Unfortunately we can't remember the name of the young lady who's assisting Liz, (Amber?) but her role is vital per Liz "temoinage". Liz loves talking and explaining, hosting and entertaining guests on a daily basis aren't easy things to do, but we didn't feel it at all, as if we were the only visitors for days! Muse, their friendly dog, has his charm and warm look but keeps barking when you shake hands with her owner…. :-) Joe told us that Muse is a good indication about the grapes to be harvested, as she likes to taste them, otherwise no touch!
What more can we say? AAA +++ all thumbs up !!! An awesome experience at O'Family!
