Ann and James are wonderful, warm and welcoming hosts who make the stay in this magical location truly wonderful. This was our second time with them on what we hope will now be an annual trip. The location is beautifully peaceful (we didn't hear the donkeys) with lovely views across their large garden and over the glen. There are lovely walks all around and if you climb the side of the glen behind them the views are spectacular - you can really feel like you're on top of the world! The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable, again with lovely views. Breakfast is delicious and very filling! Perfect poached eggs with my salmon every time, while the rest of the family loved their more traditional full breakfast. Great to be on a working farm and see things like sheep being shorn. Wonderful place from which to explore the countryside And visit the local beaches. Packed lunches are available on request and I'm sure would be great. Our kids (and us) all enjoyed petting the animals, sheep, lambs, dogs, donkeys and horses. Wee like to walk along the track to The Lodge to eat in the evening. Once even saw a red squirrel. Highly recommended.

Nicer than most of the other farm B and Bs. James and Anne were nice. The bedroom was larger than most and you could turn around in the shower. The views were beautiful. It was close to many of the things we wanted to do. We could step out the door and be at numerous trail heads.

Ann & James were exceptionally gracious & congenial hosts! Cozy nights in the hut drinking wine with Ann & James & the exchange students was great craic. Breakfast was superb. Everything was spotlessly neat & clean. The scenic bedrooms were big with a cozy bed and complimentary sherry in a decanter on a dresser. We spent a couple of nights there in July, and it was a relaxing, fun finish to a hectic 2 week whirlwind tour of the Emerald Isle. Their farm is breathtakingly beautiful, tranquil & serene. There were plenty of babies (lambs, donkeys, & a dog) to pet. It's within walking & driving distance of several spectacular areas. l will definitely stay here again someday!!!

This was our first farm stay and we enjoyed it very much.
The location was very quiet and peaceful, however expect an early wake up call from the donkeys. Which were delightful creatures BTW.
Hosts Ann and James were great and made us feel very welcome. This was the only B&B we stayed at where we felt really comfortable using the guests facilities.
Great walks in the local area and fantastic drives along the coastal road.
We ate at the nearby Lodge a couple of nights and a pub in Cushendall. The Lodge had good food and great service.
Great breakfast selection with lots of fruits, yogurts etc. Hearty cooked breakfasts as well.
Thankyou Ann and James for capping off what was a fantastic 3 week holiday in Ireland with such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

My husband & I stayed at Dieskirt Farm for 1 night. On arrival we were able to make ourselves a cup of tea and enjoy a piece of Ann’s homemade coffee cake. A very nice welcome. Our room was of a reasonable size with a good bed and a great shower with lots of hot water. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit salad available followed by a full Irish breakfast. The farm is well positioned to walk to Laragh Lodge for dinner, though the path was very muddy after rain. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Dieskirt Farm.

Thank you Ann and James - we had a wonderful time on your working farm. A big thanks to Ann for showing us around and introducing us to all the farm animals! Our room was lovely with a great view over the glen and with super comfy beds. The shower was hot and spacious - not always a given! And the soda bread is to die for . . . as was the rest of the breakfast. Irish hospitality at its best!

Stayed 3 nights while touring the Glens. Ann was friendly, helpful, and interesting to talk to. The peace, quite, and tranquility of the countryside was welcome. Only 3 miles off the A2, the farm is about one mile from Glenariff Forest Park and its waterfall walkways. Breakfast was a highlight of the day with a large variety of fresh fruits, cheese, yoghurt, cereals and well as the usual Irish fry. The shower in my room was exceptional. In many B & B’s you get a drizzle from the electric “power” shower. Here there is enough water flow to actually enjoy your shower. One really good advantage of Dieskirt is the nearby location of an exceptional restaurant, Larach Lodge. Recommended by James, I wound up eating there every night. If you’re traveling through the Glens it would be almost impossible to find a better place to stay.
