Characterful and tasteful and very well appointed cottage with a stunning garden and set in a charming little village.
Chris and Jerry could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Very clean, well equipped kitchen, very cosy and homely, very comfortable,a lovely cottage on a quiet private estate.
With a small garden full of birds.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Brattleby is a small hamlet just north of the City of Lincoln and a perfect spot for exploring the City and the countryside. The Stables is a peaceful and extremely comfortable retreat from the hustle and bustle but near enough to many good restaurants if that is what is needed. The accommodation is extremely clean and well cared for by the owners who live close by, They, incidentally, are very happy to advise on where to visit during your break but they are not intrusive. Parking is within 5 yards from The Stable door, very convenient if you don't like trudging miles with suitcases in tow.
One of the best recommendations I can give is that, having visited several times, I'm coming back in October.
We have stayed at The Stable numerous times, we are really glad to be able to share our experience online at last!
The Stable is the perfect location for exploring the Lincolnshire wolds and surrounding areas, it is only a short drive from Lincoln city.
The accommodation is well set out with privacy for both families and couples, it has an amazing view of the fields and rolling countryside from the cottage.
The hosts are the perfect balance of helpful and informative, yet allowing the privacy and seclusion for any guests to enjoy their stay.
Would not hesitate to recommend this characterful cottage to anyone.
The cottage is situated in the small village of Brattleby. Very near to Scampton Airfield home of the Red Arrows.
The cottage is adjacent to the owners property the cottage itself is very comfortable and tastefully decorated throughout, also there is a private garden to sit and relax.
Also you can visit the city of Lincoln which can be reached by your car or the local bus service. You can also visit the North sea coast between Skegness and Cleethorpes by your own car.
We have enjoyed many holidays in this cottage and we would not hesitate to recommend a visit.
