The place has just about six cozy cotteges - since we were a group of 13 persons, it perfectly suited us - the whole resort completely at our disposal. While the rooms are reasonably okay - and overall upkeep could have been better, the food was outstanding. Mr. Biju, the owner, was more of a host than resort owner. Staff probably didn't have finesse and polish - but they more than made it up with their courteousness and warmth. We devoured the Kerala food all three days of our stay - all the meals! So, you don't necessarily need to spend a bomb to enjoy hospitaility and have a great experience. Would certainly recommend a casual visit to the kitchen and chat with the chef Jagnnath... don't forget a tete-a-tete with the host Biju over a drink...
All in all, a great enjoyable experience...More
