Very neat cottages looking over the Orange River vineyards and the village of Keimoes. Arrange with Eric for dinner in advance - there are no nice restaurants nearby. There is secure parking behind padlocked gates - comforting if your car is loaded for the Kgalagadi, although the parking is a bit tight for a long pickup. The bed was superbly comfortable!

Eric and Anna went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is a great base from which to travel on to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park or experience the wild flower season.

We stopped over here on our way to the Kalaghadi SANPark. What a truly delightful place this is. Beautiful & stylish rondavels with lovely views, and every detail and thought taken into consideration. We had pre-ordered dinner and this far exceeded our expectations - truly delicious and served on our rondavel stoep (and we loved the BYO policy!). Best of all was the charming host, Eric, nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made the 4 of us feel very welcome. We tried to then stay here on our way back from the Kalaghadi and unfortunately it was already fully booked - and our alternative accommodation & dinner in Keimos proved a sad disappointment compared to the lovely "Overlook".

We stayed in one of the three cottages, which are cozy and comfortable. There is a great view from the cottage's patio into the distance beyond the river. After our hot drive, we enjoyed the gardens and pool. The night was clear and we had an overwhelming view of a star-studded sky. We had made arrangements not only for breakfast but also for dinner. Eric, co-owner and chef, had inquired meticulously into our preferences or any restrictions and then offered us a very well compiled three course dinner, utilizing fresh local ingredients. The food was well prepared and presented. Meals are served on the patio, allowing to eat in privacy and whilst enjoying the panorama. Eric combined contemporary cooking with an Indonesian influence. Also the equally well-prepared breakfast was served on the patio. All very enjoyable and moderately priced

We stopped over here on our way back from the Kalaghadi Transfronteir Park and what a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and had everything you might need. We sat on the patio with a glass of wine and watched the sun set over the fields. Later we had a scrumptious meal (which I ordered when booking) served on our patio. Our hosts were most attentive and chatty and we even had some 'friends' in common. There was safe parking right outside our room which was great as we left early the next morning to get back to Stanford. We will definitely be back!
