For the 2nd year running I booked with my family to have xmas dinner at the White Horse, this alone speaks volumes with us returning however I could not be more pleased to say that this year it excelled all my expectations, the atmosphere, quality of food and the level of service were all excellent. If the improvement from one year to the next is anything to go by I will certainly be rebooking for 2012, would highly recommend this venue as your choice for Christmas dinner

Stopped over at the Whitehorse Inn while in the area for work. Had been recommended by a friend. Its a great alternative to staying over in the city and I was able to drive back into Aberdeen in 15mins.

Room was clean and comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant which was the highlight of my stay. Loved the food. Daily specials are worth a mention.

Went through to the public bar for a quick drink before bed. Bustling with locals. Really nice community feel to the place. Flying visit this time but would definitely return for a long weekend and take advantage of its great location.

I would definitely stay at The White Horse Inn again. Lovely friendly welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food is good, the room and bathroom clean, with a good power shower. Comfortable bed so I slept well. A big thank you to all of the staff.

Stayed at The White Horse for a family celebration recently. Look a bit 70’s form outside, but surprisingly good inside.
Over the 2 days the staff were friendly, the food excellent and the rooms adequate.
Don’t know if family run but staff would suggest that, attentive and chatty from first to last. Good restaurant quality food and most dishes good value, worth the visit just for the food.
Rooms a little dated but clean. If you just want somewhere to sleep they are fine.
Over all good value for money.

I had two nights at the white horse inn whilst working in Aberdeen. The inn is old and could do with a make over. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Anne who works on the reception is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for her. Lynn the manager is very helpful and will try to help if they can. The rooms are clean and well stacked with soap and shampoo. i found it through late rooms so did not expect a good reception. would stop here again

Room Tip: ask if your not happy and I am sure some one will try to help you

This was my third visit to the restaurant (which was lovely last twice) and came with two friends who had not been before and sadly we won't be back. The restaurant was cold and we had to keep our cardigans on. I ordered mushroom linguine, this came and was like soup! The waitress was lovley and helpful and offered me a replacment or a fresh dish. I took a fresh dish and it came back better than the first time. My friends had chicken with haggis risotto, the risotto was sloppy and runny but they just ate it rather than comlain again! The pudding were a disaster - pavalova was 3 meringue nests with squirty cream, strawberry sauce and raspberries! Chocolate cheesecake with a base so hard my friend spoon could not cut it so she left it. I have rhubarb crumble which came with a burnt topping, and the rhubarb was green (looked more like leek crumble!) and was not pleasant at all! We have white coffee's and they were not even luke warm! The waitress again was lovely and replaced the coffees and the next ones were hot. We paid the bill and she had taken the coffee off the bill, i complained to the supervisor/manager on the way out and she said she would take our comments on board. The staff were lovley but the food was awful and i felt very disappointed.
