“Stayed here out of desperation”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Nice and clean looks great from the outside, no one spoke English so communication was hard
no heating in the cold room had to be give a portable electric heater, no toilet roll in the room the owner was brash and rude, the evening meal was very good but breakfast was a disaster not enough to go around, very expensive for what you get

We stayed in this hotel for one night on the way back from the Provence to The Netherlands.
It is very basic, but clean and has good beds and large rooms. The hotel is next to the highway exit, but it actually feels more like being in the middle of a rural site. You've a fabulous view of the countryside from the entrance of the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Diner is a set menu (mainly from deep frozen ingredients) and could be a little better. Breakfast is fair though. Croissants, baguette, jams, juices, coffee, thea, etc. That get's your day started.
There's no playground for children, but since there is much space around the hotel they can play with a footbal or run around and enjoy themselves.

Chosen for overnight stay on way to Drôme, Southern France following travel from Ferry at IJmuiden, Netherlands.

More a motel than a hotel. Very welcoming staff, good value for room and meal. There is no menu, host provides courses - salad, chicken and cheese/ dessert courses on the night of stay. Breakfast is also typical - croissants, bread, yoghurts, meat etc.Hotel and rooms are clean.

If you are a light sleeper I would beware weekends when the hotel might be hosting a wedding reception or similar.

Room Tip: Choose room away from building used for fetes etc.
