First time I stayed here in 2003 and loved it...I came back in 2007 and I absolutely hated it. The super noisy bar in the parking lot - somebody threw up on our doorstep, our car was blocked with chairs and tables, drunks everywhere. I gave it another chance in 2010 and 2011 mostly because it was the cheapest place to stay - the same experience. Right now the prices are almost identical with some of thee beach front hotels with many more amenities and without the drunks and loud music all night long. I'm saying never again.

Room Tip: If you stay and don't want drunks on your doorstep ask for a room by the pool - away from the ba...

We would like to apologize that your stay at Paradise Inn was less than satisfactory. Since your stay, the Inn is under new management and has been remodeled. When you request a room away from the bar, we will happily put you in a room where you won’t hear the live music. The Inn is also half the price of the Gulf Front hotels. We would feel honored if you gave us another chance to experience our Inn the way it was meant to be: laid-back, unique, and charming. Our friendly staff is also available 24-hours a day to help with any issues.

And had a blast! I want to express deep sympathy to those who like to use the word "filthy" to describe the rooms. I find the rooms to be spotlessly clean and the maid service quite attentive. I suspect these folks who have issues with cleanliness have got.issues with cleanliness and should maybe get therapeutic support for obsessive compulsive disorder. I stay at the Paradise quite a few times per year and it is uniformly clean and the staff always friendly. The pet fee is NOT $100 for two dogs. We bought our two dogs and it was $25 dollars per dog for the entire stay. They state in the rules that they charge a hundred dollar fee if you neglect to mention you have more than one dog and try to get away with just paying for one. They have a fenced dog run for friendly dogs to congregate, and dogs even have access to the sound beach through the rear parking lot. It's a great experience to watch the sun set over the sound while a blues band plays on the outdoor stage and one enjoys great food and libations and good company. We fish off the back pier and have had great luck fishing, plan to bring our boat next time and dock if off their pier. Also, we bring our kid and there are always kids there dancing on the dance floor. There is a local, friendly family atmosphere to the place.

Room Tip: The quieter rooms are in the back where you have access to a bbq grill and picnic table. Also can r...

I have stayed at the Paradise Inn many times over the past five years.

I always pick this location because, in addition to being the most affordable room for rent on Pensacola Beach, it provides all you really need to make the most of your Florida Beach experience:

1)the Location: You are in a centrifugal location within a five minute walk of all the local bars and hangouts and just across the street from the gulf. That is, if you decide to venture beyond Paradise's own bay-side bar/restaurant, music stage, and beach.

2)the Staff: From the more-than-accommodating front desk staff- Julia, Victoria, and Karl, to the cleaning ladies and bartenders- to name a few- the crew's involvement has always been an added bonus to the already amazing sunsets and (have I not yet mentioned?) the BEVERAGES available right outside your front door.

3) the Clientele: With the exception of a few dried up old bags who would be better served checking into a nursing home- like Cathy S- one will never fail to make friends of the locals and tourists alike who frequent this location.

In short, this is a place you go to have fun on Pensacola Beach. You have what you need- a pool, a paddle board/kayak rental, a bar and grill, a bed and shower, a boat dock- all on the property, but if you're an unhappy, miserable person, staying here might not fix that for you. Maybe invest your money into cheap botox, so you can at least LOOK happy, instead of taking up the room the rest of us want. Thanks.

Room Tip: As has been mentioned, this area tends to be more like a community for beach goers than a secluded r...

I have & will continue to stay at PARADISE INN. Where the sunsets and ocean meet, the music at the local bar is beautiful and the food is out of this world! Going to P'cola Beach is a beautiful experience for everyone, now it's time to stay & play, old folks, younge folks and the kids or grand kids at the Paradise Inn. Go and find out, you'll be back!

This is the local party spot. There is a tiki esc bar at the end of the property that has a live band 6/7 nights a week with pretty good talent. If you're looking for a night of fun and a place to crawl back to after a fun night of music- this is your place. If you're looking for a cushy, ritzy place- this is not for you. This hotel is good for someone who does NOT spend a lot of time in the room.

The room was standard, nothing too spectacular, but clean. I'm not really sure what the maid service did, there was a dead roach next to the toilet for like 2 days and a lot of sand- I had to clean this myself. However, the front desk staff was nice and got clean towels when needed.

Lastly, they have a simple breakfast service daily. The coffee was horrible, but what might one expect? They have cereal, sausage + biscuits, and pop-tarts.

Room Tip: Rooms far from bar are quieter. If you need a good night sleep- do not stay here. If you want to pa...

Thank you for taking the time to review Paradise Inn. Since your stay with us we have upgraded our coffee to a locally-roasted, artisan coffee called Twisted Canyon Coffee. We wish you would have let us know about the roach issue. We do have a contract with the Orkin pest-control, which exterminates all bothersome pests. Our rooms have also been upgraded since you visited us. We hope that you visit Paradise Inn again, try some of our great coffee, hear some of our live music, and relax at our charming Inn.

This little hotel on the Santa Rosa sound is a special experience. Easy going, not fancy, not expensive, but definitely fun for adults. Come by water or car, all you need is there. Clean room (with a Temperpedic mattress), food, sun, little beach, and most of the time a live concert every night. The best thing though was the staff and patrons. Locals come to hang out and eat, travelers meld right into atmosphere of no strangers are at Paradise Inn.

I would not advise the place for families unless you just use it as a hotel or don't mind your children being around a bunch of all ages adults imbibing on quite a bit of various adult beverages including a pretty decent bush whacker.

Boating is a great way to enjoy this area. You may launch a few miles away, boat the area, return to the inn by boat, dock overnight or two then return to the big public ramp which is located on the west side of the north end of the bridge that takes you back into Gulfbreeze. The ramp I'd off Shorline Drive. On calm days even sall boats can ply these waters but mind the wind speed predictions. If the wind kicks up past 10 mph the bays and the sound will become extremely choppy depending on wind direction, but you still can find some lee for that, just got to get that boat out need.

From the Paradise it is easy to visit Fort Pickens, parks, and the must see Naval Air Museum.

Going in the fall, not during a festival is a great way to experience this area without crowds. For a single traveler, this was a find.

Room Tip: A room near the road may help keep the music out if you turn in before 10 pm.

I was looking for a dog-friendly hotel in Pensacola beach and this was the only one I found. It was a humble place, but staff coulndn't have been nicer and more helpful. The place is across from the beach. The rooms need updating, but they're clean. You get a small fridge and a microwave. It allowed us to have a nice relaxing week while being able to bring our dog with us. There is no charge for parking.
