Pleasantly surprised to find this getaway while on our honeymoon, road trip! We were actually headed to Destin when we stopped at this jewel. Staff was amazing: Kari went out of her way to help us with accommodations. Doug tended to our needs at Frank and Lola's (ask for his Bloody Mary), while laid back Nathan served us Bushwhacker's outside! It was off season for the area so we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with a moderate mix of families and couples. If you're a Buffett fan, you'll enjoy all of the references to his songs, etc... Either way the place is gorgeous, staff attentive, every thing was perfect!! Hope to return next year.

Room Tip: Pick a corner room with wrap around views!

The Margaritaville Beach Hotel is very pretty. The rooms are spacious and the decor is very beach like and inviting. We are parrotheads. We have attented several Jimmy Buffett concerts and have been to several Margaritavilles in Mexico, Cancun, and in the Carribbean. We expected the same party atmosphere here. Sorry there is none. We were excited to go to the Landshark Tiki Grill, but found about 10 people each night just seating around. There was a small stage, but it was empty each night. The pool area was about the same. One man band sang a few songs one afternoon we where there. The last day of our stay we actually went down to the public beach just to see a few other people, which was full. The pool and grill were open until 10, but no one there because nothing was going on. If you would like a quite getaway this place would be great.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor for a better view

The hotel is simply fantastic. The rooms are great, the food is good, the beach is the best. You can not go wrong with this hotel. You can ride the trolley from the front door of the hotel and get to anywhere you need to go. You can walk to the beach hut next to the hotel for volleyball, drinks, and entertainment.

Worried about spending a bit too much for this stay was quickly surpassed once we walked in!
My husband had not got pass the lobby when he said "do you think we can get a second night"? I had not even told him the rate. Once we settled in we relaxed and smiled continuously. The Beach town was nearby and great sidebar for my 23 yr old daughter.
Love ya Jimmy!

Room Tip: Gotta face the bigt "Emerald Sea"!

This is the second year my husband and I have stayed at the hotel. Both were for Blue Angels weekend. If you have the opportunity to be there for that experience, do it!!! You will not be disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, from its rooms to its wonderful gulffront location. The most amazing thing at this hotel is the happiness and friendliness of all the staff members. If you talk to any of them, they will tell you how lucky they are to work for the hotel. There are smiles from all the staff members, from the bellboys, to the maids, to the bartenders, waitresses, and front desk staff. All are top notch.
And it does start at the top. Tonya LeMay, who was promoted from when we were there last year is WONDERFUL. She is currently the sales manager but is constantly out talking to guests and making them feel welcome. The maid service, was super. I have never been to a hotel where consistently the maid staff is so friendly and helpful. Tiffany took care of us and she was great. Sherrie in Frank and Lola's is someone we saw from last year. She is so friendly. The hotel had a manager of the restaurants, Bob, who is incredibly friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of!

The pool area is nice, sometimes a little crowded, but it is a fun. The hotel does give two free vouchers for Landshark beer. The bartender, Nathan, very easy going and happy. There is also live music which definitely adds to the island feel!

The rooms are modern, beds are very comfy. if you can get an executive room gulf front, do it. The balcony is L shaped so there is a view of the gulf and sound. Showers are spacious. And lots of amenities in the bathroom, including a variety of coffee choices for the keurig. Closet is big and spacious

Landshark Landing is nice, you can eat inside with a definite island feel or you can eat on the "beach area" with picnic tables and chairs. From this beach area, you can walk directly onto the beach itself. The choices on the menu are limited, but definitely good for kids. There is even a golf cart that the bellboys will drive to take you to the restaurant.

Parking is plentiful and free! What a change that is from most places we stay. It truly is a happy place with happy people and a good relaxing feeling to it. We have traveled extensively and this is my favorite place to stay of ANY hotel in the States. I am rather particular, but would highly recommend the hotel without any hesitation. Again, Blue Angel weekend (after the 4th of July) is an amazing place to experience the Blue Angels. You can literally see the entire show from your balcony.

Room Tip: Executive gulf front room is exceptional. The view is spectacular and the room is very large

My family and I spent a night there this past Memorial Day weekend and we all completely fell in love with the place. Wished we could have stayed longer. This hotel is at the TOP of our list for future vacations. From the front to the back, top to the bottom, this hotel is outstanding. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous views, excellent food, the best staff there could be. This is the only place I have ever been for a vacation that I was able to truly and completely relax! And for that I cannot thank them enough. Thanks to all for a job well done and we will be back again.

My husband and I stayed at the Margaritaville Beach Hotel during a spur of the moment trip in April. As soon as we walked in the lobby, we knew we were in the right place. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Obviously we loved the beach-front location - you can't really ask for more than that. The rooms definitely exceeded our expectations. They're quite clean and modern, not your standard Holiday Inn type vibe. We didn't eat at the restaurant or Landshark Landing, so I can't really comment on those. However, we did visit Landshark Landing to redeem our "one free Landshark" vouchers - excellent touch, I thought. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting Pensacola.
