Overall, I this hotel was laid back and relaxing. The employees were very nice and the beach was beautiful. I loved the fact that at check-in we each received a lanyard for our room keys. The price was reasonable and the bath products were nice. The room had wood-look tile, which was great for a beach. We opted for a bay-view room to save a little money, but the view from our balcony was still nice.

Room Tip: A room with a bay-side balcony is more affordable and still a great view.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We got it at a great price before the summer rates. The rooms are amazing with very comforable beds, HUGE bathrooms with large showers, and great views from either side. Our room had a balcony facing the bay. Very relaxing to go and read, drink and watch the happenings from there. The pool is great, with a zero depth entry, is shallow at both ends, but only is 5'deep in the middle, but that's all anybody really needs anyway. The beach is fabulous! White fine sand that is almost like craft sand !! The beach stays shallow for quite a ways out, so relatively safer for kids. The staff either really, REALLY like their jobs, or they have all taken acting lessons!!! Everyone was very helpful, more than accomodating and very pleasant to talk to. You can rent paddle boards and wave boards from staff on the beach. Only drawbacks to the hotel- no continental breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel is very pricy!!! Also, if you go down to the beach, they have a lot of beach chairs and loungers, BUT you have to RENT them to sit on them. So, either pay $11 a day, or bring a blanket. Other restaurants and tourist shops within walking distance. But DO stay here, it's like having a your own place at the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony. I think all the rooms facing the beach have one, but they might cost...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the hotel. The room was big and comfortable. Nice bed. Beautiful view of the Gulf from the very private balcony. The hotel is decorated with the Island theme down to the finest detail. We ate in the hotel restaurant two mornings for breakfast and it very good.

Room Tip: We had seventh floor room with a Gulf view. One afternoon, we were able to sit on the balcony while...

We stayed at another hotel 3 days before we arrived here....the other hotel informed us a few weeks before our vaca they were going to switch our rooms after 3 nights so I decided to look for another place all together...I found Margaritaville and looked EVERY WHERE online for a room to book...I was intrigued by the Keurig Coffee maker in the rooms and of course the pictures of the overall resort. We found a room and hurried and booked it. The first night there I was in heaven...I am an Interior Designer and was just so pleased but the overall design and decor. Everything from the flooring in the rooms to the bed/bedding and the pool area. We loved Every single detail about the hotel. For lunch both days we ordered the "Lava Lava Shrimp" and the "Caribbean Chicken Salad" both were obviously sooo delicious. The pool was zero entrance which was great for our kids. We have an infant and toddler so I was a bit skeptical that it wasnt kid friendly but it indeed was and there were tons of kids at the pool and around the hotel. We wished we would have booked the hotel for all 5 nights and have already started looking into our next trip to this hotel. One thing I was a bit upset about was there was already sand in our bed when we got there like the sheets weren't changed out. We hung out at the Landshark Landing one night on the hammocks while my husband and I had a drink and our daughter had a HUGE ice cream sandwich. We were here in June and the weather was PERFECT and it didnt seem too overly busy. We enjoyed Peg Leg Petes which was right down the road...make sure you arrive around 5pm so your not waiting 2 hours. We went 3 nights in a row a little bit earlier each time and finally the 3rd night we only had a 30 minute wait.
