I managed to only stay one night here eventho I was scheduled for 6. I was extremely uncomfortable in my room. The room was dark and old. My bathroom had rust and mold. I literally did not sleep at all. The furniture looked as if they stole all of Barbie's playhouse decorations and put it up in my room.
Plus: the breakfast area was remodeled so that area is nice looking.
They need to remodel the rooms! If you like a room that's dark, moldy and uninviting, then this spot is for you. If not, don't bother.

Loved the staff, the location, the beach, the free breakfast.But the housekeeping service needs a lot to be desired. I have pictures to back up the following:
Long black hair in sink, upon check in
Thick layer of dust on the radio/alarm clock. I mean, I know we are all on vacation and don't use the alarm but this dust (in dust balls even, not just a layer) had been accumulating for weeks! And it remained there for my four day stay. It made me question the cleanliness of the entire room.
Broken handle on the dresser.
Ate breakfast in the room -- the next day, after housekeeping left, the same crumbs and debris was left on the table and floor beneath where my granddaughter ate.
Dust everywhere in the room!
Marred and scratched microwave cart really needed replaced or refinished.
Dirty sheets not changed - they had the same make-up marks, etc.
Broken basket on the coffee maker.
Again, dust everywhere!
During a rain storm, the hallway celing was leaking. Finally a guest put a coffee cup under the leak in the hallway. Towels, buckets, etc were left everywhere the leaks were found, too.
Giant coffee urns were empty on a couple of mornings, when the buffet first opened which left guests lined up waiting for coffee.
Again, I loved the staff at this hotel! They were all very helpful. I would be happy to upload pictures of all the issues that I have listed above, if needed. With all this said, I quietly mentioned theses things to the front desk clerk when I was checking out. She was kind enough to comp one night's stay. I don't like to give negative reviews and I can see where housekeeping is probably overwhelmed with the sheer volume of people, families, children, activity at this hotel. Sand, loads of wet towels, food, etc....It is a fun place for kids and families and again, the location and beach are really hard to beat. I will return because of the STAFF and many other positives but truly, the housekeeping really needs to improve.

Normally we drve to Destin, Fl. After staying in Pensacola we won't have to drive that far ever again. Complimentary breakfast every morning. Ocean view with sugary white sand and clear water! Arcade right next door including putt putt! Rooms clean- friendly staff offered to loan the kids boogie boards and beach toys. Loved the free naval museum-a Must See while visiting Pensacola.

We are so happy to hear how much your family enjoyed your stay with us. The Tiki Island Golf and Arcade is definitely the way to go when it comes to family fun on the beach. Also the naval air museum is a great attraction for anybody. There is also a zoo located in Gulf Breeze and the Gulfarium not too far from it. You can stop by the front desk anytime during your stay for idea's on places to go and things to see. We'll be seeing you soon.

The hotel is on the beach with many advantages including friendly staff, abundant breakfast, many beach towels, very clean, well maintained and walking distance to many attractions. It's an older property and it shows although they do all they can to maintain it. The hallway carpet on the third floor was stained; the carpet in our room was damp as was the furniture but some of this comes from a family friendly, popular beach front property. All the same, I highly recommend it.

We had never been to Pensacola Beach and weren't sure which hotel to choose. We chose this hotel based on best price. However, we discovered that it also had best location too. It was the closest hotel, just a short walk, to the shops, restaurants, and boardwalk. The staff were friendly and quick. Breakfast was chaotic, but it always is at hotels that offer breakfast included. They seemed to struggle a little to keep things stocked during the peak breakfast time, example was being out of coffee. We loved having a balcony facing the ocean and the room was big. As with most hotel rooms the AC fan was noisy as it kicked on and off during the night. The pools were small and they definitely could use more umbrellas to provide shade around the pool area. We walked next door to the Hilton for lunch (which was incredibly expensive) but I wish there were some lunch or snack food options on site. It seemed lame that you pay so much for a hotel room and then are expected to have to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We decided to hang by the pool and not pay to rent an umbrella on the beach.

Room Tip: Get a balcony room.

We enjoyed our spring break stay at the Hampton Inn--we have also stayed at other properties on Pensacola Beach in the past but price is why we ended up here. Positives for this hotel:
-extremely clean breakfast area with a wide variety of offerings
-across the street from the new view 360 wheel (ferris wheel)
-within walking distance to mini golf, restaurants, shopping
-great view of Gulf of Mexico
-2 pools (one heated, one unheated) both outdoors
Our room was facing the gulf, overall comfortable and nice-- a typical Hampton Inn. We had a small balcony overlooking the pool and gulf. We absolutely LOVED the beach area and the umbrellas/cabanas available for rental.

Thank you for your stay with us at our hotel. Our wide variety of foods from breakfast is a great way to start anyone's day. Our hotel is the most centrally located hotel on the beach to many different attractions and restaurants all with in walking distance. It is very convenient having two pools, especially one that is seasonally heated for when the temperature starts to drop. We hope to see you on your next trip to the area.

4 adults and 1 child stayed here 3 days and it was glorious. The pools were clean, towels provided near the pool so no need to bring them from your room. Umbrella chairs on the beach were $10 per hour and were not affiliated with the hotel. The mini golf in the parking lot was fun and convenient. Breakfast was a nice variety and ample amounts. Breakfast/lobby area is clean, bright and airy. There are bathrooms located just to one side of this large room for wet persons coming in from the pool/beach. That was very convenient as we wanted to swim in the beach for a while after checking out but before leaving...this restroom allowed us plenty of room to change into driving clothes. Drinks and snacks vendors near the pools. Beach was clean and not too crowded in April. The staff was superb. Elevators all worked (and we were up and down numerous times during our stay). I've been to several towns/hotels all along the Florida/Alabama coast, this hotel is where I will be going to for every trip from now on!

It is very convenient having so many great attractions such as Tiki Island Golf and Arcade or Lazy Days beach rentals for our guests in just walking distance. We are the most centrally located hotel to these places as well as other attractions and restaurants on the beach. We have a great set up outside with our two pools and Gilligans tiki bar where we seasonally have oysters on the half shell on Wednesday afternoons. We look forward to your next stay with us.
