Thank you so much for such a nice comment. We hope to see you again.
This hotel was excellent in most ways, particularly the helpfulness of the staff, and the immediate access to the beach. The rate was reasonable relative to similarly situated hotels. The only downside was the fact that the rooms are made to convert to adjoining suites (and unfortunate trend) which results in hearing a great deal of sound and noise from adjoining rooms.
Otherwise, an excellent place to stay!
Thank you so much for booking your vacation with us. Next time you stay please let us know you would like to be in a non-adjoining room and we will be happy to take care of that for you.
We hope to see you again soon.
Balcony rooms on the Gulf have unbelievable views. Tiki bar is awesome as is the breakfast. Didn't have to drive at all as everything was in walking distance! The Pensacola beaches are pure white sand along with the emerald waters of the gulf it provides such a relaxing atmosphere.
We are so happy you had a great time with us. We hope you come again very soon, The Fall is a great time to come back. The rates are lower and the weather is still amazing.
I knew it when we walked in the reception... that is the worst feeling when you walk in a hotel because that is supposed to be the best view of a hotel... and it tells you in advance how your room will be. Unfortunately I was right... The carpet just out of the elevators were smelly and (almost) black... same in the bedroom... They have nice balconies... If I had a hammock I would have probably slept there... they have to put sticky notes saying that the sheets and duvets are clean because they look so old and overused that gives you the feeling of dirty. They are lucky because of the location, but I believe is time to do major renovation, like this how it is today, they can't compete with the hotels around.
I apologize that we did not meet expectations and I am actively working with our housekeeping team to ensure our standards of customer service and cleanliness are consistently met. I understand the condition of your room was of concern and I sincerely apologize for any discomfort you had. I am always looking for reviews to provide insight into our guest experience and I will keep yours in mind as we look towards refresh options. Please accept our apology for the condition of your room as it was clearly unacceptable. Our post-it notes are part of our brand standard, so we will also funnel your comments to the appropriate team. Our housekeeping staff will do a better job of quality control in each room moving forward. Thank you again for your feedback and I invite you back to stay with us the next time your travels bring you to the area so that we may show you an improved level of service and quality of accommodations.
My wife, brother, his girlfriend and I went to Pensacola for a wedding in June 2012. We figured we would also make a vacation out of it. The first day we got there was amazing. Our rooms weren't ready on time, so we just changed into our suits and headed for the beach. The water was beautiful! What sucked was that this was the only day we were allowed in the water. Tropical storm Debby would be approaching the rest of the trip and red flags would be raised. As far as the hotel goes---it had awesome service! The girls at the desk were very friendly. They even called us once in a while to see how we were doing. The breakfast was nice since you didn't have to go anywhere outside for food in the morning. This was a bonus since we basically partied every night and were too tired in the morning. The night life in Pensacola beach is amazing. Crabs was prob our favorite spot to go at night since they had a cool bar, awesome food, fun bartenders, its right next to the hotel, and you can head to the beach when all said and done (this was fun especially at night). We did find some bums sleeping on the beach though. That was weird. Everything you need is right on the strip and close to Hampton Inn. We will definitely be going back.
It certainly sounds like you had an amazing time with us. Our location really allows you to get the best of everything that Pensacola Beach has to offer. We hope to see you again soon.
Darn it!! We were only able to stay one night; on our way to New Orleans and could not change our travel plans, although we wished we could have! This is a jewel on the sand in Pensacola Beach, with great restaurants nearby.
We had reserved a balcony room with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. You'll be sorry if you don't spring for the extra expense because the room offers a breathtaking view. Room is very clean and large, with great amenities.
Shannon at the front desk offered exceptional customer service and deserves praise. She's quite an asset to the hotel.
Stay at this Hampton Inn when in the area; I promise you won't be disappointed!
Next time you will have to stay longer. We have so many things to do you could make a whole vacation out of just being on Pensacola Beach. We hope to see you again soon.
