Stayed Wu Lai - Lovers House (Chinese: Qing Ren Wen Quan). Nice host, and will always there to check out my baby is ok with the temp. Good to stay 1 night in, esp when u have a baby tag along. So once bb is asleep, we can do our "soaking" inside the room. What you see in the website is what you get in the room. Clean and nice. Came with a simple breakfast. A good place to stay away from city. 1 night is about NT1800 (off peak), roughly sing $70. Cons: No lift, only stairs.

“Great place for Spa with nice scenery”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Went to Wulai for a spa session during my trip there on 09 Jan 2013. It was a rainy day with temperature @ 12 degrees celsius. Soaked in the hot spring water in a private room and immediately felt so soothing with the coldness gone. There are a lot of choices in Wulai and I would recommend to go for those spa that look exquisite from the outside. The one I go is Full Moon Spa and it costs 780NTD for a couple for an 1 hour session. The address is Wulai street Lane 85 No. 1.

“Waterfall and hot spring”
Reviewed January 11, 2013 via mobile

After a week of running around between Hualien and Taipei, we decided to have an easier day at Wulai. We took MRT from Taipei railway station to Xindian, then a cab ride to Wylai fall. We saw the fall at the aboriginal village, beautiful and serene. The train was not running, so we walked from the top to the old street; had lunch then a three hours soak at one of the local hot spring hotel. Took the 849 bus back to Xindian MRT for mere$15TWD which equaled to 60 cents USD. Anyway, we enjoy the short day trip. Would recommended to anyone visiting Taipei

“An old town with lots of hotspring resort”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

You need to spend at least 2 days to absorb the Wulai hospitality.
There are two 4/5 stars rated spring resorts in this quiet town. These resorts are small in term of the number of rooms as compared to those in the larger city. Dont forget to visit the wulai old street which is not far away from town. If you walk it is about 15 minutes from you hotel however dont take a cab as the cabbies there refused to go by the meter rate.

Homemade sausages sold by the street hawkers were delicious and yummy.Local products such as Almond and sesame powder are tasty and reasonably priced.Walking leisurely along the Wulai Street was enjoyable as the weather was cool and the breeze was soothing.People were polite and friendly.
