It is by far one of the best fish restaurant we went to. The food is delicious and very well presented: the recipies are a blend of Creole and French cusine. Do not miss the swordfish millefeuille The service is perhaps a bit slow (for European standards, not local ones) but the wait is definitely worthwhile and the terrific view on the bay helps a lot. The quality of the restaurants in Basse Terre is quite low so it definitely makes sense to save a bit and enojoy a meal at La Toune. We spent 45 euros per person for a full meal, with two glasses of wine.
