drive to and into canyon fantastic. Only disappointment but not significant was end of drive. Found views en route much more impressive.

Cool little visitor center. Even if you don't have time to drive the loop, see the visitor center. Some impressive views on the drive, but, not as good as going to the main part of the park. Sometimes its hard to find a parking spot at the center, you may have to wail till someone pulls out.

It was cold and windy when we took the drive to the top, but we had to get out and look at the view a while. Amazing!!!

This is a good value if you have a National Park Pass. Drive is only five miles in and out. Beautiful views. We were on motorcycles and drove to the top and then back out. Looks like it would be great for hiking and there are trails.
If you have to pay cash might be expensive if you just want to hike or just drive through. Take a camera.

We hiked the Taylor Creek trail and the La Verkin Creek trail. Both were fantasic and I would highly recommend them. Even if you just do the scenic drive, the scenery is gorgeous. If you didn't do Angel's Landing or Observation Point in Zion valley due to veritgo issues, you can get longer, more level trails (still steep in some areas, but not a continuous up and no chains required) with amazing scenery here. And its a lot less crowded. We were hiking early in the morning saw some fresh cougar tracks (but unfortunately, not the cat itself). The visitor's center and the overview at the end of the scenic drive both have bathrooms. But there aren't any restaurants. We brought a picnic lunch with us. In April, it was windy and cold, so we were glad we'd brought extra layers with us. Once we decended from the rim, the wind wasn't an issue. You have to cross the stream many times, but it was always hopping from stone to stone. We never got wet.
