“A rare experience.”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Driving in to Zion on the east entrance, you have to go through a small tunnel and then The Big One. Only a few cars can go in at a time so there might be a little wait but it is worth it. It goes right in the middle of the mountain and only takes about a minute. . Cool!

“Very interesting”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

This is a mile long tunnel dug out of solid rock. It was built to link Zion to Bryce and the Grand Canyon, making a great and easy family trip: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon (North Rim), Bryce, Zion. Three great National Parks and not that much driving.

“Zion”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

My wife and I loved everything about our visit to Zion! Our room at the Best Western in Springdale was fabulous...great views, very clean, great food (also with a great view) and easy to get to everywhere. Springdale is one of the nicest areas we have visited, because of the views, the hiking and especially the ease of getting around with the every ten minute free shuttle service. It will be hard to beat such a great palce with such beauty and all the amenities to go with it!

“I love this drive”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

It's a short drive but well worth it. The tunnel has great views through windows and dark sections perfect for honking your horn with the kids in the car. When you exit the tunnel you are in a very different landscape on either end. There's just something about this drive that makes you feel like you are someplace special. I always think of all the other people that have enjoyed driving through here over the years on their family camping trips. It's wonderful!

“Cool but kinda scary”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Cool to travel through especially with the cut outs but when traffic is coming at you it is a bit tight and can play with your eyes due to extreme dark/light conditions.
